Okeke hostel is very similar to this hostel, the only difference is that they have 2 bunks in a room, making them 5 in a room. Also because it was recently renovated, it has an iron door, modern design window and their room floors are tiled

I had my first degree in UNN, I studied Biochemistry, graduated in 2011. First year, I stayed in Aja Nwachukwu Second year, I stayed in Awolowo Third year, I stayed in Mary Slessor Final year, I stayed in Okpara and BQ (One of those staff BQs close to chapel) Memories 😂 Back then, we contribute and buy wall paper and carpet to make it look a bit ok. Lol it still looks the same o. Wow brings back memories

I'm smiling reading this😊 Yes, it's pretty much the same. But we don't use wallpaper in the hostel anymore, we just contribute to paint it and buy carpet

@@adaezekwelu7727 oh wow. Nice. Painting actually makes more sense. I really had good memories. I was always lucky to have great roommates. Back then, you pay and get a scratch card which you will use to login to get your hostel assigned to you on the UNN portal. Is it still same process?

@@adiimimi The process has changed, after paying ur school fees, you are eligible to apply for hostel on the student portal

@@victoriaegwu462 It’s 10years I graduated. But Mary Slessor is a smaller hall compared to other female hostels. So I guess it had lesser occupants

Yes oo Boys hostel is not in a good shape at all, I've been here for about a month, but I've gotten used to it. Its now home away from home 😂

Do a video of the Franco Hostels. Particularly, Mbanefo Hostel and the Franco cafeteria. I bet you won't do this video. It is indeed eyesaw and dishearting the state of those hostel. Infact I don't think dogs can even agree to stay in the Franco hostel. If I am wrong disprove me by doing a video on Franco hostels.

First of all, females aren't allowed into boys hostel, so i can't even enter. You are not wrong in all honesty, the boys hostel is nothing to write about, the school pays more attention to the girls hostel. But the franco cafeteria is still ok, only food is sold there

I'm glad you came across them too😁 In UNN most medical students get presidential hostel, you will offer general courses in ur first year like physics, chemistry, biology, maths,and GS ,so any hostel is really fine. Incase you get presidential hostel, prepare ur mind cus they use bunk beds

I would have love to stay in the hostel cause I just got admitted but I'm not from enugu state and I don't know anyone there to stay with before the school finally allocate me to a hostel room, please if there is anywhere I can stay even if it is to squat with someone before the school give me a hostel room, I will love you to share with me. Keep an eye on UNN portal, once the portal opens for school fees payment, usually the next day the hostel portal opens, so you can apply and get a bedspace before you resume. You have to pay your school fees immediately the portal opens, it will increase ur chances of getting a bedspace. Thanks for watching and welcome to the Den🦁

You are to apply for a bedspace before resuming. If you don't get a space 2 to 3 days after the hostel portal gets opened, then you have to find an alternative accommodation for the mean time. So you don't get stranded
