Yeah, that does. If only the London fire, police and ambulance services use that sirens instead of wails and yelps...

These sirens they use in the Netherlands is loud, effective and simple. Its easy to use and teach and it probably cost less. I dont know why we dont use them. Germany uses similar sirens but they have 2 types. Similar sounding but at different amplitudes and wavelengths and they are super effective. The dutch fire truck sirens are really loud, people usually move faster when its a dutch fire truck with a loud and equally annoying siren and then the loud horn ontop is really effective. I suggest watching some brandweer prio 1’s.
