I think you get it reversed. A low pass filter passes low frequency. It's also called high stop filter. If a filter stops both high and low frequencies at different cut off, it's a band pass filter.

You can't draw a real sine wave? At 41 seconds you have some squiggly thing that I assume you intended to indicate a sine wave, but that ain't a sine wave! If you can't draw a sine wave with Excel or Matlab or even a graphing calculator, you clearly don't understand anything at all.
