you are correct! same as my BYD tang DM. 4.3s to 100 and 1000Nm instead of 630Nm here. but rest looks and seems to be very similar. i got a 2.0T engine instead of the 1.5T. its exactly as you said. you can use EV only in the city and charge at home in your garage which i have done for almost 6 years now. use EV most time except when i travel or want extra power for fun. with the current charging situation in europe i am sure hybrid is the way to go for now since there are not enough charging stations to get you around without worry. years ago when i bought mine it was similar here in china. now the amount of fast chargers increased like triple time and i have no problem to drive fully electric with the SU7 max. but for rest of the world i agree that hybrid is a fantastic way to get around. after i watched your zeekr mix video i went to test drive it and think this might be my next family car. if you are around shenzhen next time let me know.

Can discuss the non china front design but still pretty looking. Of course EU taxes will limit the success of this car but competition remains potential. Announcement: I live in a city where most of the streets allow a maximum width of 180 cm (mirrors folded). Last time I checked, there is no way to move buildings further apart. While I don't plan to use the car to drive in the city, it is still nice to have the possiblity to park where I live rather than 10 km away in the suburbs. Will buy a reasonably sized car, i.e. 180cm wide, 450cm long, 150 tall and less than 1500kg. If you don't know where to start, I'll give you a hint: I know how to close the door by myself. I've tried, trust me. Reports are they're pretty much on the verge of going bust, but let's see. The parent company is rich so they shouldn't be too badly off. The Chinese need to be more strategic. If Norway taxes PHEVs and HEVs but not BEVs it doesn't make sense to send a EREV there, especially as it is the opposite on continental europe. Also Norway market is tiny. Australia's BEVs accounted for just 6.7% of its total market but by volumne it almost matched Norway's BEV sales. In Australia the BYD Shark has been a smash hit. 2000 sales first 24hrs. I read a report saying 4000 sold all up and on their way. So with long distances and poor charging infrastucture outback the EREV concept works here. Additionally if you go to any car park most of the vehicles are similar size and shape of this Chery (sorry forgot how to spell the name). ME, Oz, SE Asia and Sth&Central America should be the targets. Let Europe and the US stay in the past.

@@AJames-jr8kw it seems the future is electric and hybrids are the stopgap For Norway it has been an interesting market as EV is prim6ary vehicles for families. I like everything about it 😍😍😍 Oh, speaking about the massage of the seats: is it a strong one? In my VW and Renault, both with massaging seats, it is barely noticeable... are Chinese massaging seats like those available in coin operated seats, where you can even see some "balls" moving in the seats? If it's like that, perhaps you could try to show the balls' motion in a future video? 😉😉
@InsideChinaAuto
@InsideChinaAuto Ай бұрын
Haha, i think showing balls in motion might be for another kind of platform. But in all seriousness, I don't think any are super strong because it would unseat you and those things can be plain painful at times if they grab a slice of back fat or something and squeeze it just a bit too much.

Why cant the engine power the wheels It seems straightforward
@InsideChinaAuto
@InsideChinaAuto 28 күн бұрын
It's not connected to them, that's the set up of this particular drivetrain. Engine is like a generator, it just burns fuel to make electricity and that goes to the battery. The wheels are driven by motors, so it drives like an EV.

They have great EV charging infrastructure and 93.6% BEV sales last month (petrol 0.6%, diesel 2.1%, HEV ~2% PHEV ~1%) but also perhaps unlike China which also has good EV charging there is more of a "green" culture I suspect than in China.

@InsideChinaAuto Waw! Waw! I really wasn't expecting that... Not from the official channel, I didn't. Let me educate you on that: it so happens that a lot of my relatives used to have Rover cars. As they had a long standing presence and there were tonnes of them in the streets, nothing happened. They still could get parts, maybe a little bit more hard to get them but that is it. That's not the case with a smaller and not so established brand. If they pull out, and some will do, there aren't enough cars to justify importing parts and providing service. It's not like you can go to your local scrap yard and get parts for you Xinjin Ping 5XL35 blue sardine as you would for an extremely mundane Rover 25.... Thanks for not addressing any of my concerns or giving any further facts or any reassurance whatsoever for my questions. That's not a good way to make people trust what you said. Have a nice day.
