She says if you’re going in for surgery, schedule it early in the morning. “The doctor is fresher and more alert, and the patient who will be feeling anxious will get rid of the anxiety faster,” she says. I had my surgery early in the morning...I arrived at the same at 5:26am my surgery wasn't til 9am...got put in the prep room around 7:45...Iv in at 8:15...my dr came to talk to me and then I slept for a little bit then got wheeled away to the OR at 8:55am things were underway after that...I woke up in recovery after 11am and sent home at 11:50am
