Ohio cops rescued a 23-year-old woman who was held captive in a shed. Police say Chloe Jones was beaten with a baseball bat and held in the shed for four days before she was rescued. Jones says the accused kidnapper, William Mozingo, offered her a ride home. However, she ended up in the shed. Turns out, she was not his first victim. He was previously convicted in 2017 of kidnapping a woman. Mozingo was arrested and charged for allegedly kidnapping Jones.

It's because you're stealing money which could go to the government, and they find that personally offensive, unfortunately someone getting kidnapped and beaten doesn't have too much of a negative effect on them personally, so they don't see it as that big a deal

@@therealJamieJoy No, but rather a corruption issue. Money talks, & if someone has a reputable father or other family on a high rung in a social hierarchy, then these factors get considered, & a potential charge that gets a regular person a higher sentencing, gets someone with perks & privileges much less. And at times, it also seems as if the judge & prosecutors just get drunk & roll some dice & then establish the number of years/months someone gets. The American Justice System is a joke anyways, just like it is the case globally, but this P.O.S 3rd world country is especially worse.

@@RobbieStacks90 I would definitely agree that it was a bad decision but not all women make these mistakes. As a woman with a 3 year old daughter, I am more than aware of the dangers in the world and possible repercussions of any action I take. Walking down the street, I carry pepper spray, a taser, a knife, and have multiple emergency alert features on my phone and watch in case I need help. I also have an emergency alert app that automatically routes to my nearest 911 center and send them my location. I am knowledgeable on how to fight back, and how to potentially deter the attacker. Although my physical strength will never be as strong as a man, I have learned certain ways to “hurt” the attacker by kicking them in their groin, stabbing them in the eyes, and using whatever force necessary to save myself. I am hyper vigilant in people’s moods and facial expressions and would say pretty good at suspecting danger. I wouldn’t dare step outside at night and my husband accompanies me most places. All this being said, I could never say for certain I am 100% safe because ultimately that will depend on many factors.

Weren't the friends those people living the house? If you watch the longer body camera versions those people in the house say they knew Chloe and they "Partied" with her before. From what I could get from the body camera they all do drugs together this ex-con decided to beat up Chloe and keep her locked up in those peoples shed. I'm not saying using drugs means it's okay to beat and kidnap her just saying those other two who live in that house where the shed is I think they should be arrested also. Her husband looked like he had lot of Prison tattoos he said Mozingo was his "Bro" from prison. If you watch the longer body cam footage that woman said her husband found Chloe the night before or early in the morning like 3am they didn't call police until they sent their kids to school hours later.

She may "recover," but she will be a different person, and that may be a hard thing for her to deal with. That's going to take a lot of time and help, which I hope she can get.

This is really horrible! To see her in such a state! Something has to be done to keep women and children safe and us men have to work together to protect them.

Well when you got so many people in this society pulling posters down of kidnapped children and saying people deserved to be brutally tortured ect. I'm not surprised by this

What if I don't feel like it.I'm not being silly. I'm actually serious. I don't always want to have to take action just because I'm a male. I'm not full of energy 24/7.

@thedesensitizedsympathizer530712 don't then, but don't try to say you're a good guy. Just tell people you're selfish and then they won't put trust in you that isn't deserved. Seems fair.

While it’s NEVER the victim’s fault for the terrible heinous actions another forces on them, it was very brave for this young woman to want to show this as a warning of what can happen nowadays. My prayers go out to her 🙏🏽

ehhh it could be the victim's fault. You jump in a lion cage and die it's ur fault. You walk around late at night in a high crime area and get robbed or raped or killed it's ur fault. Just because you didn't do the crime you still contributed to being in the wrong place at the wrong time due to either bad judgement or you're just an idiot.

Definitly not the victims fault. However, better choices can be made. Don’t hop in the car with a stranger is a basic thing taught to us as kids and to adulthood. Why she decided to get in a guy’s car who’s got tattoos covering almost half his face I don’t know. Regardless, I hate this happened to her and wish it could have been avoided.

@@Jose-rq1ig Really tho, that’s where the candy and the van thing started. But she might’ve been intoxicated or something to have had her judgement impaired or just really didn’t think of the danger. Either way I agree I wish this could’ve been avoided too. She was really failed, by the law enforcement that said the first kidnapping pain caused to a victim warranted only 18 month 😔

@@WillThomas-hs3oj actual no, animals hunt other animals on the need to eat in order to survive in natural selection. Humans do it to satisfy their own sick pleasures. We’ve long since evolved, to the point we don’t need to kill and physically hurt each other to survive and thrive. At this point it’s so one person can feel superior over other….

It's shocking to me how horrible our judicial system is at catch-n-releasing all these perpetrators across our entire nation.
