@almostcatlike94585 жыл бұрын
@Cindy Frazier She shouldn't have. The fact that she worked with kids is ironic. My mom always used to say how stupid Julie was for that, but she would never say it to her face. Throughout the years when I was a kid, we'd see this case always pop up and have the same convo about how dumb she was. At times she would try to scold other parents about how to raise their kids. I swear this to you! She actually used to do that. One of the parents she did it to actually told her she should shut up, because she lost her own kid. Felt so horrible for her, but I can't lie when I say she deserved it. They were dumb hippy parents living in Manhattan's village, it was normal for people like Julie to let their kid go to school alone. New York has always been a dangerous place, would have never trusted a child his age to go anywhere alone. Trust me, I know Julie was so full of regret over it. She knew the family, we knew her struggle. It explained why she was bitter half the time. I mean, she's working with kids. After losing my own, I don't think I could work around children without feeling constantly heartbroken. She was a very weird lady, I'll tell.you that!
@dreamingtree60934 жыл бұрын
@Chat Noir You have to understand context. It was not abnormal to have kids running around unsupervised back then. Every parent did that. It would have been strange or considered crazy not to. Child abductions for the purposes of rape were not well known. So people had no idea it was even possible.

It gets under my skin to hear the same old lines, " everyone knew everyone." Or "it's a safe neighbourhood." If that were true, Etan would be at home with his family or the perpetrator would be in jail. He was six years old for God's sake. A baby.

It's so sad that he could be a happy 51 year old with a family but everything he could've experienced was taken away and the man who toke it didn't pay his price for the boy 25 years isn't enough for a whole life and not to mention the boys was just beginning. I hope etan is happy wherever he is

Blue each person has a different reason of why their case is "most famous"for example,have seen America's Most Wanted?That was made because that man's(John Walsh) son was kidnapped....the ending to his case was quite tragic and the driving force behind him making the show America's Most Wanted,so other parents wouldn't have to go through what he did

The Lindbergh baby wasn't missing, he was found in the forest chopped up. Etan was the first to be put on a milk carton. That's what missing children means these days. The Lindbergh baby was kidnapped because of who the Lindberghs were and what they stood for, sad but not the same as missing, and it didn't invent a new way to find kids. Etan was the first on a milk carton, I'm surprised they didn't say that.
