Couldn't agree more, I saw this thing in another video at least a few years ago and it makes me wonder why the thing hasn't taken off. It could be so useful if say 1 in every 5 or so patrol cars has one installed, it would even be ideal here in the UK as my smallish Northern English town has a problem with twoc'ed cars (Taken Without Owners Consent). Anyway, I'm guessing the invention didn't pass certain safety requirements or there was just something(s) inherently wrong with the design that we'll never know about (there may be more recent videos or articles on the decide but I'm too busy to look tbh). All I can say is if it was a completely successful design then we'd already see them being used, essentially.

yeah we bought a car and it was already inspected through the same dealer, we took it straight to our mechanic (we set the appt up before even paying the dealer, ) there's usually always a 30 day lemon law, well the whole bottom was rotted, they said it would cost thousands to fix, and wouldn't pass inspection the following yr. we took it straight back and they didn't want to give up the money, until they saw that they lied about how much we actually we paid, on our receipt it had the right amount but on the ones that went out to the state was a different amount they were trying to pocket money, we didn't notice until we went over the papers heading back out there to see what they had for return policy thank god we noticed that, otherwise we would've had to go to court to be awarded the money.and go over another month without a car.

The problem is that it was not blocking it. Going over the hood would be easier, with less corners for the hose, and faster. They lost precious time to break the glasses that they didn't need to do to achieve the best outcome, but they simply wanted to do it because regally they could. The only reason firefighters have to pass the hose through a car is because the hose needs to have no angles, but in this case they made more angles to pass it through the window instead of going over the hood. They absolutely have to do this when it is necessary, but in this case not only it wasn't necessary, but they took their time through the long way when there was the obvious shortcut. I've watched many videos of firefighters doing that and I fully support it, but not in this particular case...

2 years ago I bought a car from my neigbor for 4100 Dollars , only to find out the car needed 9000 Dollars in repairs . I scraped the car after my neighbor told me it was my fault for believing him that there was nothing wrong with the car .. We no longer talk to each other ..

00:55 no he did it fine if a car is blocking a fire hydrant then it’s legal to do whatever is needed to get to it
@jameshilton366823 күн бұрын
Normally im totally fine with them going through any car in front of a hydrant. And having that many violations is absolutely unacceptable! But in this case i think that was unnecessary. It actually would have been better, easier, and way qicker to go right over the car. It was parked far enough away to make going through the car actually less than optimal, but they did it to make a point. Apparently one that guy needed to have made to him. But it was still unnecessary..🤷♂️

0:48 Justified a hundred percent. Someone could have lost their life in the fire because the firefighters couldn't access the hydrant. Literally a life or death situation.
