Since COVID, a ton of animals have made what seems to be a “comeback” around this area! I live in southern CT. Soooo many more bobcats, fox, deer, and even bears! Tons of bears, constantly see posts on my ring neighbors app, community forums, and not dangerous or threatening either. It’s nice. There’s very heavily wooded areas all throughout CT, Mass, NY, and NJ. A lot of people only hear about the busy cities though!

They literally look like kids at a water park. One of my favorite parts is when mama bear said it was time to go, the cubs didn't even hesitate to follow, definitely a good mama. Side note: "i wish the bears were in someone else's yard" might want to teach the little one not to wish whatever difficulties onto someone else but rather have the strength and wisdom to be able to deal with what you're going through head on. 💪🏽

@@bluesorcerer83 I live in New Jersey, if you’re not in Newark it’s a great spot to see wildlife. I’ve seen rabbits, foxes, deer, raccoons, skunks, and they’re all having fun here. Think my neighbors cat killed a rabbit once, but otherwise the place is just a haven for animals and humans alike.

@@_.jawaii._ it’s not that common for a mama bear to decide to raise all of her new borns. Most of the time she chooses 1-3 to keep and leave the rest to die. (It’s a struggle just to care for themself as it is)

Yeah, but one should never let bears get comfortable lurking near their house. I would've scared that bear off. We had a brown bear shot a while ago after it broke into a hunter's home at night. Bears will war with human villages if they want a home. I do feel sympathetic that they run out of places to walk, but they're still extremely dangerous and should learn to never mess with humans like the bears here
