INSIDE EDITION's House of Shame series is putting more home repairmen to the test - this time to see if they give a fair deal for cleaning an air vent. After hiding cameras throughout a rented house, we called local technicians to check out vents that can build up with dust, debris and mold. This is one of reasons why dad has taught me to be resourceful with almost anything, in 2019 we had a problem with our well pump, and we called the plumber and he said that it was going to be a $5000 fix, dad told him to get the hell out of the house after he heard that number come out of the plumber's mouth, so soon after we decided to just buy a new well pump and some replacement tubes, and try our best to fix it ourselves with no plumbing experience, after a few KZbin videos and some trial and error, we finally made it work and not even half ass it! The reason being since that fix our well pump has been working perfectly fine as it should, and we only spent around $500; A way better deal compared to $5000 "fix"

I used to do aluminum boat repairs but I never charged more than 40 bucks cause most of my repairs never took me more than about 40 minutes. When I was done, everyone was so pleased with the work, they offered me more but I couldn't take it cause I was only looking to make extra cash to pay for fishing bait and some beer so I could enjoy the remainder of my weekend. My busiest weekend consisted of 15 seperate boats which I could easily repair in about 6 hours.
