Sarted out pump gas and Stihl orange bottle. Next was one gallon non-ethanol Stihl synthetic but slobbered too much. Then Tru-fuel green can. Always ran. Bateries now in the floorboard of the battery zero turn with a heater under the rear hoohed up to a thermostat set at 40 degrees with a tarp over it all for cold weather protection. All battery stuff including blower and trimmer(Kobalt and Stihl hand mower) . Jusy chugging along and Happy Holidays, Pal!

I like the way you're keeping the batteries warm! I've been thinking about getting batteries warmers for the cars on days when it's going to get really cold.

I don’t store my equipment without running it once in a while. I take out the fuel and run it dry but then I’ll take it out sometimes and run it just to keep the carb healthy.

I do store all my equipment with non ethanol fuel, however i do start them at least once a week! In all im 2strokes i run Red Armor and since storing them with fuel and starting them I haven't had any issues, knock on wood. As far ax battery to gas equipment. I'll stay with my gas... My opinion battery is way over priced and you absolutely fo not get the performance of gas. Battery is definitely a great option for elderly and folks that aren't able to use gas. Im still using my Lawn tractor that was made in 90, try that with a battery tractor.

you are correct, the story about the neighbor who uses a 20v Dewalt blower, is elderly and that's why they use it.

That trimmer Head you had to replace could be saved by keeping it greased 😮

actually if you remember the video, there was nothing wrong with it. Turns out the owner made a mistake when installing it and it was binding up.

Yeah, all these electric mowers and such have horrible, if not nonexistent, parts availability. Its hilarious how people want to be green by using electric, even though it'll just create more plastic e-waste and the batteries will be useless within a few years.
