I’m very proud to be a part of this. Not only to work with a legend, but to sing on something with such a personal message.

Wow, after I made some criticisms (and praises) of his latter-day work, and pined for some of his early (70's) melodies, that I posted in the comments of his "Under the Eye Of The Sun" video (which is a great song!), this one was such a refreshing kick in many ways, the guitar work, the quite different harmonica style (for Hackett), and the soulful vocals, which almost harken back to his days collaborating with Randy Crawford and Richie Havens. Wow, and the guitar and keyboard part at the 3:30-ish mark. Too bad this is coming too late to put on my Christmas list. I can't wait. Thanks!

Good to hear Steve working with other artists again. I must admit to feeling that, on his last few records, the sound gets so "huge" with ambience, doubled vocals & massed multiple instruments, that it can become rather impersonal. I find myself craving a single voice, a couple of acoustic guitars; the kind of thing he did so well in the '90's and early 2000's.

I like this song. But mostly what I like from Steve Hackett's last albums is the sense of freedom (even If I recognize his "own style"). He is no shame to use pop , soul elements and use it with his style. Thank you, Mr. Hackett!

Nobody can accuse Steve Hackett of releasing the same old sounds - Look at the new album 'At the Edge of Light' and compare the relatively easy listening on 'Hungry Years' and then go to the intricate recording of 'Those Golden Wings' - Fantastic variety!
