Leafs got their break when they had a garbage player take out a very good defenseman in the previous game. @@jessewahwah What price? Their garbage player has to sit for 5 games? The Leafs take that tradeoff 100% of the time. The somewhat equivalent would be if Josh Brown brained Marner in the second and got kicked out and suspended. Pretty favorable tradeoff for the Oilers.

Oh look, trash league's mouthpiece Darren Dreger uttering his rubbish. Similar hit got Reaves 5 games. The bias against the Leafs over the years has been crazy where dirtier hits across the league don't get suspended or fined. Somehow this soft team over the past decade has been suspended the most. It makes no sense.
@KptKrunch94812 күн бұрын
Defnitely the principal point of contact was the head. But similar to Reaves?? Be honest there bud. Nurse was coming out from behind his net, and the puck was bobbling on him - his priority is to get the puck out safely. Reaves zeroed in on him and (watch it don't take my word for it) he ELEVATED his shoulder to HIT NURSE in the HEAD - not similar at all That was a targeted hit and NOT the first time Reaves has done that. 5 games - IMO he should of received at least 7 games if not more. I get you're upset about the Whitecloud hit - but don't expect any sympathy from non-Leaf fans if your attitude is that the Reaves hit was 'similar' - not even close bud
