White Cloud was crouched and took aim for his head as he stood up and suddenly stopped ....deliberate and if NHL doesn't do something about "chicken wing " hits . Like the can opener.?

Parros is unqualified for adjudicating the NHL rules.

What did Parros have to do with it? He didn't give any supplemental discipline, but he wasn't involved in the call during the game that deemed it a clean hit.

He did not go for the body. He hit his head and it should have been called a Match penalty. Leafs never seem to get a break in the NHL.

Leafs got their break when they had a garbage player take out a very good defenseman in the previous game. I love how Leaf fans always play the everyone hates the Leafs thing every single time a call doesn't go the way they want it to. The League bends over backwards to appease the Leafs at every turn.

Parros hates the leafs.. all of his rulings and decisions are never logical or fair.. I am not a leaf fan and can see how parros constantly gives them harsher punishment.. Marchand can end guys seasons every yr and gets 2 games max. There's no consistency ..never has been since parros been in charge

@@jessewahwah What price? Their garbage player has to sit for 5 games? The Leafs take that tradeoff 100% of the time. The somewhat equivalent would be if Josh Brown brained Marner in the second and got kicked out and suspended. Pretty favorable tradeoff for the Oilers.

So you want open ice hitting out of the game then? Impossible to hit someone shorter than you in the chest without hitting the head as well. Try it, stand in a traditional hockey stance, head up and walk towards a wall. Your head will be the first part of your body that hits the wall.

@@merlbartley7243 He didn't jump. Both his feet were on the ice at the time of contact. He bent his knees and exploded into the hit. Hits identical to this one happen all the time, hell trouba has about half a dozen a year and every time people complain and he doesn't get suspended. We can have the conversation on whether it SHOULD be a penalty. But the way the rules have been inforced the last couple of years, not a penalty

There is one thing most anti leaf fans seem to miss. The sports media is so under a cloud of being neutral that they become anti leaf because of it. Listen to Joe Bowen and that is the closest you will get. All other sports media supports their team. Just watch Boston, they over do it, but i can respect that.

Oh look, trash league's mouthpiece Darren Dreger uttering his rubbish. Similar hit got Reaves 5 games. The bias against the Leafs over the years has been crazy where dirtier hits across the league don't get suspended or fined. Somehow this soft team over the past decade has been suspended the most. It makes no sense.
@KptKrunch9481
@KptKrunch9481 2 күн бұрын
Defnitely the principal point of contact was the head. But similar to Reaves?? Be honest there bud. Nurse was coming out from behind his net, and the puck was bobbling on him - his priority is to get the puck out safely. Reaves zeroed in on him and (watch it don't take my word for it) he ELEVATED his shoulder to HIT NURSE in the HEAD - not similar at all That was a targeted hit and NOT the first time Reaves has done that. 5 games - IMO he should of received at least 7 games if not more. I get you're upset about the Whitecloud hit - but don't expect any sympathy from non-Leaf fans if your attitude is that the Reaves hit was 'similar' - not even close bud
