It's a skill that anyone can develop over time with enough dedication. But skill alone does not make you an artist - making something original yet beautiful does -- things that nobody else would come up with, like blobs of paint with pencils or melting objects by Salvador Dali.

Violett Reyes Practice. :) I study art and my teacher always says „we don’t look enough at the things in front of us“. We get teached to look at details, small things from a real life object that we usualy don‘t notice. And suddenly it’s a whole different story and the objects that we draw become more alive. Sorry for my English, I just suddenly remembered what my teacher said and yea. :)

Rainbow: I have 7 colors. This woman: _Not in my house-_ Edit: DAMN THIS BLEW UP ALOT!! Also everyone in the subcomments fighting over what's in a rainbow when we learned this in preschool (or at least where I am). 7 colors refering to red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Im just using the standard rainbow to keep the joke simple. Edit 2: Y'ALL. P L E A S E quit arguing!! My notifs are going off like nuts over something silly! It's literally just a comment about a rainbow! With everyone being technical and fighting each other, the original comment doesn't seem as funny. Now it's like as if I started a sequel to "is water wet" or "which is first: milk or cereal" except the question is "how many colors does a rainbow really have". Are you guys serious?? Please, just read the comment, either laugh or scoff, and move on! Thank you!

"It doesn't just come from my head, I'm working directly from a photograph" FINALLY someone actually saying *how* they do it AND being honest, without making a big deal out of it. So many hyperrealism-artists make it seem like they are geniuses/super-computers who just calculate all the physics/light-refraction in their head, or have an infallible photographic memory. But unless you have savant-syndrome I'm not buying it.

once you get better at art knowing how to shade and put the right values to make an image look 3D, youll realize that people who do hyper realistic artworks are not really the best types of artist. im more impressed with artist specifically concept artist who can draw things just from their imagination. and it takes years and years of training to achieve that kind of skill in drawing. than doing photo realistic art where you already have reference.

when she pointed out that the colors she saw were different from what we saw, like to us it's pink but to her it's a soft purple, it even further helped me realize that the artist needs to have basically in-depth abilities to control what they see along with their brains ability to interpret it. You have to have a great eye and mind, and an even greater connection between the two to be able to create something. That connection is what makes this artist draw so well, and I really need to keep practicing to strengthen that connection between my eyes and mind.

@@rachkate76 she left some boxes around town with her artwork in it. i would not call that abusing white privilege. yes, i am white. however, i would like to pose a question. how do you know that arabs would get racially profiled if they do that? have you seen it happen? that woman was trying to do something to give her artwork away. not abusing privilege.

@@kwilesvolleyball2028 shut up Karen nobody asked a biased unthinking Karen to deny white privilege. Nobody asked you to confirm you live in a small blindingly white world you see the rest of the world through, because hhmmm again, WHITE PRIVILEGE.

@@rachkate76 first of all, i posed a question. which you are to coward to answer. second, you apparently think that a good idea is to, when someone asks a question that you don’t like, you go and hate on their channel. and i am white, and never have or will be any other race. but you have been your race, and never have or will be any other. i am going to assume that you are not white. if i am wrong about that, feel free to correct me. i have been told that i get things because of white privilege, that i don’t deserve the things i get. i have seen true racism before. i never denied white privilege. i will not deny white privilege. but you seem like a smart person so i will ask this: you say i live in a “small, blindingly white world”. i would say that you live in a small blind world as well. you seem to think that all white people are out to get you. and the truth is, we’re not. i think there are actually very few people that are truly racist. and when i say that i mean by the definition of racism, according to the merriam webster definition: a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. i think you see this small percentage of people and marginalize them to white people. and i do not think that i should have to live my life thinking i get things i work hard for because of white privilege. i will pose another question. and a reminder, i am asking these questions because i genuinely want to know the answer. not because i am trying to prove you wrong. when, since the beginning of this year, have you seen a widespread example of all white people being handed something other races do not get, only because of their race? maybe you can answer it, but i guarantee that there aren’t as many examples as there were 100 years ago. my point is, through all of this, is that the world is getting better. and that someone trying to give away artwork isn’t abusing white privilege. also, i would appreciate it if you do not add any more hate comments to my channel. honestly, it hurts you and your argument more than it does me.
