Are you saved friend? If you died tonight will you go to heaven or hell? God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh to take away the sin of the world. He gave up his own life to save yours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for your redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Isaiah 45:22-23 KJV Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. [23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. John 1:1-3,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, Isaiah 44:6 KJV Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Revelation 1:17-18 KJV And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. John 20:27-29 KJV Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. [28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Nothing to write home about and yes the burgers are thin, but I always got the triple burger to satisfy my cravings and it's pretty good. That’s a good point. Natural in the food industry means the product doesn’t contain any filler, flavoring, colors, chemicals, or preservatives, and that it’s only minimally processed. It’s possible to have meat that has some of these things and that would not be able to be called “natural” meat.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these videos that made me so profoundly indifferent about the place they were profiling. It looks like an unexceptional, cheap cheeseburger on a too-big bun. The lengths they go to sell this place as worthy of bring profiled are comic. The beef is “all-natural”! Wow, since there is no such thing as artificial beef that’s a real accomplishment.
@chrisl9934

The Billy Goat Tavern was great because of the bar where you could find iconic Chicago reporters from both the Tribune and Sun-Times hanging out and arguing about everything. That was what made the place iconic. The food was made famous by SNL but the food is nothing special. It's all about what has now become a tourist trap restaurant. However, if you sit and drink at the bar like a regular, odds are you'll meet some actual Chicago personalities.

There are no more Chicago personalities. Studs and Royko are pining for the fjords. There's like a Roeper guy, Royko bullied him and he needed years of therapy. I don't think he eats burgers. The burger is OK. You can load up on pickles and onions. You can get Berghoff's dark at the bar, or at least you could when I went there for lunch in the early aughts. It wasn't a bad combination. Iconic? Legendary? Nah. A fairly tasty burger with a lot of pickles and onions and a nice dark beer. Not overpriced for the neighborhood. No celebrities, no personalities. the goat was also attributed to the Cub's famous curse - "the curse of the billy goat." story goes that Sianis (famous for taking his goat everywhere, as the video says) was kicked out of Wrigley during game 4 of the 1945 World Series because he refused to "leave his goat outside," as it was bothering other fans. As such, when leaving the park yelled "THE CUBS AIN'T EVER WINNING AGAIN!!!" the curse lasted all the way up to 2016, after those Cub's vanquished the Cleveland Indians... though not before Rajai Davis hit a game tying 3 run shot in the 8th inning to tie the cubbies in game 7... believe it or not, Cubs fans thought "the goat was real" until the last minute. lol This place and the goat have A LOT of lore in the Windy City.

Lifelong Chicagoan(unfortunately). This is nowhere near the best burger in the city. It's mediocre, but has a big name for whatever reason. Standard cheap greek restaurant.

@@rlbarney2 Well considering how a single slice of cheese is as thick as their patty, I’d prefer only one slice please.

They sure made sure to say double cheese AND 2 slices of cheese two times each. Four times they implied or specified 2 slices and nope, pullin' a fast one. I bet they want $1-1.50 per slice. Ridiculous.

I visited Chicago and ate here in 2022, it was pretty good. Not my favorite burger place but I would go again, food is decent and the atmosphere is nice. One thing I’ve noticed about local Chicagoans is they love to trash any place that seems “touristy “ deep dish pizza, billy goat etc. enjoy what you have Chicago, no one is visiting for your thin crust pizza 😂

I’ve been to billy goat a bunch of times. I wouldn’t call their burgers the best. They’re not bad, but there are other places that are better.

That's a fair statement. But these numbnuts trashing it without trying it and saying Mcdonalds is better are f-ed up. "Too much bread, too thin burgers"...What the hell does 80% of these commenters know?
