The only different is the way they are sliced, thicker in Japan and thinner in the States. There's no way you can know the actual quality and freshness without eating it. The tomatoes and olives might look different, but they don't look wilted or expired, they are just cut different. That's all.

My daughter's Subway has a kid's size drink and a 20 oz. as well as the other two. She, also, sells soup in the colder seasons. There are low fat chip options and individual pizza in her store. They sell peanut butter cookies as a limited time item. And lastly, there is bottled water, milk, and sliced apples. Keep up the good work George.💜

Most subway stores are franchised and they can choose to a certain extent what to offer on their menu in different locations. Although another possibility is the manager just tries to upsell everyone on drinks so hides all the small size cups lol

I recently making my own at home. I use sustainably sourced tuna, the best mayo I can find or homemade, fresh bread and dip in a homemade hot sauce. It's my favourite "fast food". I can't have it regularly because sustainable tuna is quite expensive

Hi Joe, please remember there are people allergic to bread! I used to love subway - but since they do not have a gluten free bread option, I am relegated to salads only! Their steak egg and cheese breakfast sandwich actually makes a pretty awesome breakfast bowl. What would be even better is subway getting a gluten free wrap or something of that nature ... but thats neither here nor there! Anywhoo ... they exist for a reason. Thanks!

As a former Subway Sandwich Artist (in Canada), I have to say, the party sub was son much fun to make. They are actually braided by hand so it's very time consuming. As for the drink, did they account for the ice? It takes up space and might account for the missing 6oz.

A bowl of roasted Brussel sprouts in the dark between the winter coats and shoe rack. I am glad you found George. The second video I saw of him was the one where he was teaching us to cuss in Japanese. I had so much fun taking that "class." LOL. I was cussing at the screen. In 2017, the CBC did an analysis of Subway's chicken that showed it was only 50 percent chicken (in Canada, anyway.) Subway took them to court for defamation... and lost.

What's with U.S drinking sizes? Everyone do be thirsty. Also, love the huge complaints about any form of vegetables or salad, it's the norm to have a fair bit of veg/salad where I'm from! Great episode.

Hey!! I always have cucumber on my subway sandwich. My order: 6 inch white bread chicken schnitzel, tomato, cucumber and tomato sauce with a double chocolate chip cookie and either a Lipton mango or a soft drink either Fanta or Sprite.

i used to work at subway and the melts were not that hard to make. it was just like making a regular sandwich (with triple cheese) and then you put it in a bag and put it on a special setting in the toaster. easy peasy.
