Brock and Heyman is the prototypical team of brawn and brains in action. They work beautifully together. Brock never needed to talk, but when he did, it did mean something. “Say something stupid, Paul.” The genius of Punk and Heyman was that their characters were both conversationalists that got where they were by outsmarting other people. Punk/Heyman was more like a comedic duo than most manager pairings. More akin to Fry and Laurie than they would be Andre and Bobby. The work was awesome because of its freshness at the time.

The Punk Era of WWE is my favorite thus far (after 2005). The sheer madness, edginess and the craziness he bought, the goddam charisma! That's yet to be topped. These new superstars might be awesome in what they do, but nobody has that hunger in their eyes. - WTF Kevin Nash, thought he was dead, LOL. - This isn't CM Punk talking to HHH, this is Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque. - Do I have everybody's attention now? - I don't mind getting punched in the face. It kind of wakes me up and gets me excited. - Your hands are just too short to box with God. - I stand here on my own two feet, and I stand here defiant. I stand here confident. This is my house, and I run from nobody. - There are good guys and then there are bad guys everyone, and make no mistake about it ladies and gentlemen, I'm a bad; bad man. - I'm neither weak, nor dishonest. - I'm not just a superstar, I'm an icon that walks amongst superstars. - I'm not just a human being, I am immortal.
