Why is it that people don't let their tyres down until they are stuck. Surely anyone going to inskip to catch the barge to Fraser and gets stuck before they even make it to the barge, let alone getting to Fraser, should give up and go home. Even a shiny stock standard vehicle can drive through inskip, the only modification needed is low tyre pressure . half an hour of KZbin will give enough driver education

All correct. The range (high or low) probably depends on the 4WD.. And is a bit of a personal choice.. When I'm towing my camper (around 1.3 tonnes) I tend to stick to low second for soft sand. Hard sand... Well doesn't matter much at all.

@@shaunepegrum5301 My pathfinder is an r50 model made in 1998, it has a two inch lift and 31.5 inch tyres on 15 inch rims. The engine is just the stock 3.3l v6 petrol engine, i do not have a face book page but you can always see me at the beach haha.

jesse dutoit ha ha ha so just in KZbin Inskip vids lol. Mines a 92 mod with the 3 ltr. It’s got a tow pack on it coz the original owner used to tow a horse float with it so the arse end is higher than the front. The wheels that will go on it r 265\70\16’s which I think r 31’s. Do u have a exhaust upgrade on it or is that stock to. Do u have a problem with the tyres rubbing on anything especially on full lock. Any way uv got a nice looking truck. I love the 2 tone on urs. Hopefully I’ll get down there one day and we can catch up and have a chat. If I can think of anything else I’ll just hit ya up mate

It's the entry beach you have to drive on to get to the barge to reach Fraser Island. Fraser is the most popular 4wd destinations in Queensland, Australia for its stunning beaches, camping, scenary and wildlife. So if you get bogged at inskip, your probably not gonna do so well on the island.

God this is frustrating... STOP DIGGING YOURSELVES IN WHEN YOU'RE DOING A SNATCH RECOVERY!!! if you lose momentum, come to a rest, back it up and try again, and again, until you're out. This goes for the recovery and recovered vehicle. So many power on at the point of snatching, and just end up getting stuck along with the vehicle they're recovering...
