Something mesmerizing about watching machinery being worked. A real Blessing seeing God working through one of His family's togetherness accomplishing necessary goals for a homestead. Angela, dynamite sounds dangerous? Coming from a lady who works heavy motorized ton equipment and uses a power saw that can cut off a limb? Understanding how is half the battle. Sam, great job. Thank's brother.

We NEVER thought it would cost this much. We priced and researched things in 2021 when we got the land, but didn't expect companies to do price adjustments in early 2022. The worst part was the power trench. Both in labor, machine rentals and costs, and the extra add-ins and costs from the utility company. It hurt the most.. our 2021 quote was $1,000 while our 2022 cost ended up being about $8,000.

You're little home is beginning to look a lot more like a home! That slope drainage tube drain came out beautiful to take the water away from the building. I can't help but wonder are you planning a deck on the front or the back? I think the backside would give you more privacy for things like a barbecue. You'll have the nice view of the woods and the children's play area. Maybe a front smaller deck at a later date. Also the siding of your home from a distance doesn't look too bad. About the only thing I can think of to make it look more modern would be vinyl siding that looks like wood but was painted. But that could wait till next year. Will you be able to move In shortly? You mentioned the black pipe coming up out in the field. Do you think maybe three metal posts and some fencing around them over it might be an order? That might stop you from hitting it with the tractor at a later date. Your place is looking so much better I can't get over the lovely changes now comes the fun of putting flowers and bushes wherever you want to put them!! Have fun now guys. After all the hard work you put in getting this far that could wait until later in the fall when the weather cools down considerably! Kudos to all of you for the good hard work.
