Ponton comes NOWHERE NEAR Cato 🤣🤣 They should've shown the finger to the studios and cast Jackie Chan as Cato in the Steve Martin films 🤣🤣

yeah, they could have used both the comedic and Martial Arts talents of Jackie Chan to a great effect as Cato. Imagine Cato pretending to not know how to fight when sparring with Clouseau, as a way to keep both his boss satisfied and his job, but kicking ass to protect him when they were facing the villains, while Clouseau was thinking he was the one beating them down. And all that comedic action choreographed by the man himself. So much wasted potential for some great comedy. I am sure the only reason they didn't use Cato's character, was to avoid the whole racist angle associated with him in the old films.

@@KilliK69 They said it was racial issues because part of the comedy had Clouseau calling him "yellow" etc 🤣 But that aside, I still think Chan as Cato in the reboot would've been fine. The physical comedy part was great. Maybe just leave out the "yellow" comments
