True, if your using colour coded boards, to use green for fruit , brown for root veg , red for raw Meats and yellow for cooked and white for dairy, its common sense to use two separate boards when chopping meat and fruit n veg! If not be prepared to give yourself food poisoning!

The way that daughter was gong on, you'd think her mums kitchen was gonna be atrocious. I have an aunty. When you walk into her kitchen, her floor, walls, cupboards and ceiling are all deeply and badly stained. There are dishes everywhere and you have to move a pile just to sit down. On the bench, there is a thick layer of slime and mold that covers the whole area. I'm not even gonna talk about how much more worse it is...there's more, but this woman's kitchen is a sparkling gem when it's compared to my aunties.

A most interesting documentary. God bless these stringent food inspectors who ensure what we eat is safe. I have travelled to many countries in my time and have eaten in French, German, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Nepalese, Indian, Pakistani and Iranian restaurants many many times and of course restaurants and pubs in my native country, Britain. Not once did I ever suffer from food poisoning. However on a visit to England about fifteen years ago an old friend invited me to a reputedly up market restaurant in my home for a meal. I had eaten there in the past and the food was good. This time I ordered roast chicken and that evening I felt a bit queasy. I thought it was just Imagination and went on a day trip to Weymouth the next day. I should have stayed at home as I was really ill. I was throwing up and having diarrhea at the same time. Luckily this only lasted for a day or two and I did not have to go into hospital. I take pride in having a clean kitchen at home and always was my hands before preparing food, especially poultry. We are cat lovers and have always had furry felines, but they are not allowed in the kitchen. The state of Linda's kitchen was more than disgusting. I am not surprised that her daughter refused to eat there, especially with a small child. One cannot be too careful with regard to hygiene.

I've had food saftey training ,but in the UK we now have star ratings compared to when I was kid when a rating upto 5 star was not invented! I was served frozen thawed meatballs as a little kid in a motorway service station cafe type place and we had a simple pass faill system back then , no stsr ratings etc! I remember when the star rating cane in! The star system was not in existence in over 15 years ago

I caught cryptosporidium from a local Chinese take away, at the time I was battling issues with weight loss and vitamin and mineral deficiencies, I also have paraplegia to mix in for a bit of fun, to cut a long story short it nearly killed me and as it happened in 2020, the premises wasn’t inspected by my council I was simply told it couldn’t be them as they had a 5 star food hygiene rating 🤷🏼♀️ laughable really as I wasn’t eating anything at that time and just tried some to help gain my appetite, it was the only thing I had ate that week. Safe to say I haven’t ate a Chinese since.

I don't understand why tracking where fishing vessels have been and for how long is a difficult task. GPS tracking is already done on the boats. Fishing vessels have no business in prohibited fishing areas. If they need to travel through one they should request permission like ATC. Then if their travel request through a prohibited area isn't logged but their GPS shows they were in that water then they need to be investigated.

It would however it doesn’t matter if you then put that food onto that dirty surface again because the bacteria that did fry out of the food will be right back on there.. and naturally making sure to wash your hands and not use the same knife after the item has been cooked
