That slice of ordinary life with it's troubles and all the age groups and modest incomes. The strong structure of a troubled teenager who is actually a good student and responsible - we don't see enough of those, or their concerns are trivialised and reduced to problems between peers. Most teenager troubles are actually to do with the adults around them. Great viewing.

I was admiring the job the crew did with that character! The casting was great, she’s a great actor in the role. They also dressed her perfectly for what kind of person she was supposed to be. But seriously the people who dressed the set of her room were PERFECT. I totally knew that teenager from seeing her room; it told the whole story of who she was & what she cared about. The craft on display in the series is such a treat & they know how to serve the story & characters.
