I agree, ever tutorial made a musician is garbage, including this one. I watched it over and over and a this point I'm convinced he is using a completely different software. can't connect my midi keybox POS, or made it made noise with a keyboard... why are all musicians autistic?

Welcome to Ableton for Beginners! The goal of this video is to explain Ableton's interface so you can easily navigate the software when creating music. If you have always wanted to make music, but just didn't know how, then this should be the first step you take to learn how to produce music!

I don't know what it is, but out of all the tutorials I have gotten into. The way you teach is by far the best and so easy to follow in the best way possible. Thank you for keeping this video up. While I've messed with audio editors for years, I've never even heard of Ableton until this month. My fault for staying in my own rut. But I had questions and was a little too embarrassed to ask around. This video covered everything I needed to know and now I'm excited to find a device I can go get to begin using Ableton. I don't do music, but I do have a need to make some low-key sounds for backgrounds. Probably overkill, but it seems like with the library there will be more than enough tools to get what I need. Thanks again!

My Dear Sir, that was fabulous. Learned so much new about Ableton and how to get things done. I am originally from iOS (iPad) music but was finding it hard to make things happen there, hence, my trip to the laptop domain. Having said that, I even learned a few new things about the iOS music game also. It might have been longer then you expected but well worth it, with not a wasted moment. Thank you so much for taking me to school; I am Grateful. Now to watch your next one. #Grateful.

Looking forward to exploring more of your videos.
