I recently began being celibate. I am only doing it for selfish purposes. I want to be strong and healthy. I am no longer smoking or drinking or doing drugs. I want to have strong lungs like when I was younger. I want to be smarter. I also am doing it to open my third-eye. I have tried celibacy before but only lasted 1 month. So far I am almost near 1 month of being celibate. New years will be a full month. I feel it is my destiny to be celibate. I feel God did not intend for me to get married and have children. I am currently learning about healthy diets and what foods to eat. I am making 2015 my year of celibacy. Hopefully I don't give in to lust again like the first time. I am going to learn how to survive in the wild. When I have enough knowledge I will leave civilization and live on my own. I am so looking forward to being awakened. I can already feel the changes in my body even though its been a couple of weeks. My respects to those who have years doing this.

Wilful optimism in that area will alienate you from a lot of silent 'controllers' - but - the one thing they can't do is control your own unique mind when you've been celibate for long enough - then - the vital seed in you is YOURS - the nice aspect of celibacy I found out - only by becoming so for some time - is contrary to what those who've lacked the courage to find out - in that when the testes become full - you DON'T have to do what females (and controlled-by-them males) 'assert' - have a wet dream or masturbate or succumb to their (in-control-of-you) assertions - your body is an efficient, far in advance of current human intelligence - machine and will, when testes become full of the semen the male body produces ALL HIS LIFE (...remember women are silently envious of men as their 'contribution' to offspring (their ova) is non-existent after the female reaches the age of about 55, whereas a male can father a child at the age of 150...if HE chooses - long after any woman of his age can continue asserting a 'superiority' over who should be honoured to give her a child et cetera - ) - his reproduction machinery re-absorbs the older seed to make room for the newest seed to continue keeping the testes full in their natural condition - thereby leaving the choice of 'mother' of children - IF he chooses to take such a path - up to HIM - not her... I hope you reach that point of realisation - and you'll then start to understand the not-infrequent 'resentful' looks you receive from women who have - until they encountered males like yourself - assumed 'they' were 'in control' of the growth of the human population... So, if you reach that point - keep it as long as you can - because celibacy is vital when some of those women choose to resort to occult ritual practise in order to 'prove' that they are 'in control' - believe it or not...as celibacy is vital to any potential exorcist. The roots of the problem that you mentioned is our own senses. Control all our senses. Most important being 1) sight: Don't watch movies at all, most of which show sex and negativity, don't watch TV or watch only good educational and sports programs, don't go to clubs,bars (alcohol). Don't keep company of bad people 2) Hearing: Don't listen to negativity, bad people 3) taste: Be a vegetarian, no onion, no garlic, no strong spices 4) Touch: Don't touch to person of opposite sex intentionally.

You should keep at it. It's not that it's not compatible with your life or lifestyle, you also need to direct your sexual energy into something else. You can simply focus on other things with your thoughts or on projects but Meditation is a good way to transmute sexual energy so you don't end up with so much pent up energy in you that you can't sleep or feel anxious. A balanced and regulated sex life that flows from genuine love and affection would be healthier than repressive celibacy, IMO. If sex life falls away due to the arising of wisdom, then good. But in my experience, most men who try to be celibate, myself included, are not ready for it, and do it to avoid the trouble and complications of intimacy with a woman. I now believe that for most of us, a loving sexual relationship with controlled orgasm (ie no semen lost) is healthier than pure celibacy.

That is for regular people like you and me. For bhikshus (Sanyasis) it is not because 1. It's their lifestyle. They own nothing no gas,kitchen,job,salalry, ingredients etc. and 2. they are doing much more sadhana than a regular worldly person so it does affect them or is neutralized by their sadhana. Nice video, I want to do this for healing purposes, the thing that stopped me for years is the scientific data suggests if you dont ejaculate it may increase prostate cancer risk, so I always thought that cleaning those ducts was healthy, it could be that the studies didnt take into account celibates that transmute that sexual energy up to the brain and circulate it naturally throughout the body. I think catholic monks or monks of some kind who were celibate had prostate cancer or died earlier than the norm, I remember reading something like this but then I thought these men probably did have thoughts of sex and didnt know how to transmute this sexual energy, maybe some masturbated/had wet dreams anyway but just didnt have intercourse, anyway their prostates were being stimulated and kind of choked cause they didnt have sex, also the SIN of thinking about sex introduces feelings of guilt etc so the celibate monks study does make sense to me. I liked the idea of the ancient chinese were you abstain but not completely, have one emission every 100 copulations, and actually use a womans sexual energy and absorb that energy, the only problem is that you need young women, its a kind of sexual vampirism, you need many young partners ... and in this day and age its too dangerous to have too many partners with HIV dangers etc, I cant imagine having so many women with their nagging and moaning tantrums anyway, I had dreamt of having a harem or concubines but thats reserved for the rich, lol. So now I'll take the celibate route and see if after 6 months I feel healthier as I suspect I will.

I can testify this. I stopped ejaculating for one month and I had so much energy people were drawn to me, I had a magnetism, I would speak and people would be in a state of awe. But because I had so much energy I had sleep problems and I started having sleep disorders. I had to stop. I've been celibate for quite a few years yet. (Unnaturally, in today's world) 100% heterosexual and having lived my teens through the sensory indulgent '60's, I chose to become celibate. A couple of points to remember: a) females can have children only until 50 years of age - then they are sterile - males can father children all their life long - even to 150 years old - so allow for the male semen being the vehicle that transports the soul of another human to the TEMPORARY eggshell from the female body, so there are other aspects of this importance that I've found out through constant researching celibacy. b) If the male is aware of ejaculation, then allow for the 'causes' of wet-dreams and other 'arousings' to be a big 'CON' by females (en masse, world-wide, looking for the passport they can parasite via semen from a gullible male and thus not need to have a job of work for life - on their own without a 'husband' - who will do all the work for them and their ego-extension offspring...) - and if celibacy is adhered to - in time - the male will find out something the female can never know about - simply due to her own sewage gutter (genitalia) NOT being the vital testicles of a male - and that is the subtly invisible capability of his genitalia. Once the testicles are full of semen (- that other female silent suggestion of her sewage gutter being 'available to relieve your problem'...and thus her acquisition to that 'passport' for a lazy life - will be asserted by hundreds of females in your district - try to IGNORE such 'inclinations') - if you are patient enough not to succumb to social 'reality' suggestion - those organs will re-absorb that older, now surplus semen, to make gentle regular space for the new semen that is gently produced all through the male potential long life from puberty to his ultimate passing on. You have to be patient and do this totally on your own, that is the right path to aspects of all truth - above and beyond current primitive human symbiotic social 'normality' - and, once that stage has been reached, you will be in a calm both physical and spiritual state for the rest of your life - and you'll also find that the majority of the rest of society will both resent and be nosily curious about your existence, as it will not 'fall into step' with the illusory, primitive inter-attention-energy-parasitic social 'reality' of today. Wow! This seems to be widespread. I thought India was one of the purest nations left & I was even thinking of joining the Hindus recently since my beliefs match theirs the closest when it comes to organized religion. In fact, I think that I would benefit from an affectionate relationship with a woman, but where no semen gets passed, more than I did from attempts at complete abstinence. Celibacy, at least until marriage is a good thing to practice. Sounds Interesting,but has the presenter made enough research on the Vedic literature ? @acerb45666555 ...what you say is true, but what I've found is that sheer willpower or just trying to oppose the desire does not work long-term. We need to really investigate what is actually in these 'hot' bodies of ours. Watching actual human dissections on KZbin has helped me IMMENSELY with this. Now if I'm out shopping and a 'hot' woman appears before me, I visualize what I've seen in those vids, as it is inside her. Cos it really is...we are all made of flesh, bones, organs, blood, skin..

It could mean different things to different people. However, if you don't believe in God/Jesus. How are you going to get saved? and why would you? you don't even WANT to be with God. Being in heaven (getting saved) means you'll spend all of eternity with your creator, of whom you want nothing to do with.

@pgarimella Not only you, but most of us guys with a girlfriend (or a high-speed internet connection) - even the so-called 'spiritual' ones - have wasted a lot of life-force over the years out of desire for the female. My advice is, start with small, achievable goals, like one day of abstinence from orgasm, then extend it out to longer periods of time. Ultimately you will need to experience pleasure in meditation, in my experience, to really begin to let go of lust. (A work in progress for me!)

See this video is a bit misleading. Celibacy is important. And its correct about mind, prana and ejaculation ( semen) being connected. But having sex is not going to kill u , destroy your life or cause disease. Krishna was a married God. He was the greatest lover. God has given us this body to enjoy it but at the same time work towards your spiritual growth. In this time and age, where all women are walking around in yoga pants ... showing off their bums and curves.... its hard to control your mind. U can force your mind, but u r only suppressing the natural needs of your body. Kaam is as important as Arth, Dharm to attain Moksh. Sex should be enjoyed , but it should be regulated. It should satisfy u and u should not feel the need to have sex for sometime. Depriving the human body of its natural functions and needs... is an insult to your human birth and to God. Enjoy sex ... thats the only way u wud realise its temporary pleasures and illusionary nature. This is important for your spiritual growth.
