I just watched a high end London kitchen and it was nuts , yelling and screaming and people running all around , i would hate for o work in such an environment, I prefer and I love your calm cool demeanor as you professionally run your kitchen, you the man , congratulations

Hi Mr T! Penny here from Indiana. I enjoyed this latest video. I've wanted to tell you thank you for the times when you turn your spice containers around showing the name of the spice or the type of flour you're using. Sometimes I back the video up as it's playing to catch the name of the ingredient. The odd ones that I'm not familiar with are the most interesting.

Hello Mr.t great video just want to let you know the reason the dough is cracking is because it’s not enough water I know you said I followed the recipe but I made those plenty of times just make sure you get a consistency where when you smash it it won’t crack

@thesimulatorguy4248 It's a reference for one of the reasons he uses "Mr.T," 80s actor Mr. T from the American show A-Team in the 80s and Rocky. He often said it and the Chef occasionally says it's one of the reasons for his account name on KZbin.

The prices make me cry, £4.10 for a decent sized plate of hot freshly cooked food. In the city, £12 for a questionable bacon baguette. It seems like this is a company canteen because everyone is wearing PPE, are the prices subsidised by any chance?

I use about 1/4th bag of the pan flour at a time and add a tablespoon of oil to the flour before mixing it with water. I've learned it greatly reduces the cracked edges you get when you flatten them. Just adding more water makes it very sticky and harder to handle wheras just a tiny bit of oil does wonders. By the way, heating up the pupusas right next to the bacon and using the same spatula to handle them completely negates the whole vegetarian aspect for me and I'm pretty sure for most vegetarians overall...
@alanharney527810 ай бұрын
Chef, I'm sure you've said before but how long do you microwave the garlic heads? Thanks for the video.
@MrT202210 ай бұрын
It depends on how large and how many. One medium takes about 20 seconds. Don't leave it too long; otherwise, the microwave will cook it. Listen to the sounds it makes, as soon as you hear it squeak it is ready 👌😊👍

Hey man, no offence, maybe I don't understand anything about cooking, but you seem really chilled during your worktime and your productivity ain't high. Am I not understanding smth or you do work not at your full capacity? How come the restaraunt/cafe/canteen you work at make any profit with such low prices and turnover?
@charbabyFNF10 ай бұрын
Productivity isn't high? He makes all the main meals from scratch. He's in a job and workplace that allows him to be chill, at his own pace and makes dishes he's not tried before. I'd say that's pretty productive for a Monday to Friday job, rather than a chaotic stressful top restaurant. Big companies like this can also afford to subsidise their meals.
