Yes I have a favorite spot in our home in the morning 😍 Our family room is where the sun rises and shines all morning it's the most beautiful thing. I do my quite time there and have my coffee 💕 I look forward to it everyday. I've noticed the birds singing louder now too, makes my heart so happy!

Nikki, That color green of that rain coat looks absolutely beautiful on you, it makes the color of your beautiful eyes look like emerald stones. I noticed that I have the same problem I put something away in a container and either I forgot where I put it or forgot I had it. It’s even worse I end up purchasing it being an article of clothing or home decor. I wonder if storage containers are the answer or maybe a picture catalog of what we have. It is bittersweet to let go of pretty things that have served us well, isn't it? I'm sad to hear you will be letting the aprons go. I've thought about encouraging one of my daughters to begin sewing Mother/daughter seasonal aprons. They seem to do well at the summer picker's market and the fall market in town. I hear you there! We are trying to save up for a nice wringer washer. We could simply DIY it but for now, I wash by hand or toss it into our 25+ year old washing machine (especially towels...those are hard to wring out!). We don't have a dryer (by choice) so absolutely EVERYTHING gets hung, either outside (unless it's wet out, and even in winter!) or wherever I can inside. We have shower curtain rods, two drying racks, and lots of chairs. We make it work 😊

Today I am packing up my grandmother's fine China for my granddaughter. I moved in with mom 5 years ago to care for her because she had allseimers. She passed away & now it's time to sell her home. Not sure if my granddaughter would appreciate her great great grandmother's China now but maybe she will when she's older!

My condolences Kathy. I'm glad you took the time to care for your mother and now dealing with her possessions as it can be very difficult. It really depends on where your granddaughter is at in life. Things I would have gotten when I was much younger I wouldn't appreciate as I did after my 30's. Some really do when they are young but others just don't know what they have.

Love SOO many things about this video! Suggestion: Walmart & fabric stores carry soft tape measures that wind up in a round compact container just like metal tape measures. When you’re finished using it you just push a button and it rewinds itself. The compact size & shape takes up little room & is easy to store & find when you need it. Hope this helps!
