i made rose petal toner using a 50/50 solution of distilled water and witch hazel. I add the petals and let it sit in a dark place for about 2 weeks. I just strained the solution and its so pretty. It's a dark redish pink colour, kinda looks like pomegranate juice. My question is, will this stain my face pink? most of the rosewater toner that you can buy online is clear, which makes no sense to me when the petals are pink. This said, mine is more of an infusion as opposed to the way rosewater is steam distilled so maybe that's why it's clear.
