Owen Campbell is a superstar. The judges just got their tiny little egos hurt. Owen Campbell should have passed through with flying colors
@Dragonblaze555514 күн бұрын
Owen cam: I honestly think he meant " let's forget I'm being judged and just have fun"...not forget about the judges completely. It came out wrong and then a bunch of tone assumptions were made between them all. Judges thought they were being disrespected, and Owen thought he was being attacked. Not the best approach, but when he came out talking to them first, he was getting control of his nerves. My two cents even though it was not well recieved.
@shicruisin700414 күн бұрын
EXACTLY! SPOT ON. That's what I thought too. It was a self-calming comment and that younger male judge felt his huge dumb ego hurt. Poor baby, boo-hoo. These morons robbed this very talented guy of a a chance because their massive ego's felt bruised because they were too stupid to understand what most people immediately understood.

Boy, I guess I read Owen wrong, my first thought was he said that about the judges because of nervousness and wanting to pretend he was not in front of them to keep it at bay, but no matter his reasons, for them to take offense instead of asking why he said that and not let him through because their tender feelings got triggered is sad, 😕

Last week I gave my friend $800 to keep him off the streets. I have a place where I keep my income tax returns. I make enough money to keep me off the streets.When I was young and had no money a person who barely knew me kept me off the street and free from hunger for a month until I got my first paycheck.

Really bizarre in this day and age for someone judging talent to worry about the attitude of an artist. The industry is full of egos and attitudes. They think they're in the business of teaching people lessons? Some of the biggest stars are jerks, but people pay millions to see them, oh and the agents and venues make billions. this isn't the pre 1970, stay in your lane judges. The public will take care of a star's attitude.

Owen is quite talented and rocked his audition. Lets judge the judges! Who are they anyway? . i hope they are accomplished because at least two of them suck at their current job in my opinion, What do you think- how did the judges do in Owens case? The judges need to check their attitudes.
@krekedal377114 күн бұрын
people that are very creative, inventive often are also socially awkward. This group often live on the streets. They also often have very high IQs. THey were all incredible. The judges took offense to his comment and maybe down under has a different way, but I think all he meant was he was playing to the people, Including the judges.

21:41 him being cocky is probably an defence mechanism to anyone who has told him “no,” “you can’t,” “you’re useless.” Etc. he probably has more positive experiences when he is on the streets everyday with ordinary people, rather than people who happen to be celebrities. I have found in my experience that some of the nicest people are the ones who have suffered the most, and the most difficult and awful are the ones who have it all. (I understand this is not all of the time as the human race is flawed, but in my opinion this is what it has been.) and also, as an Australian, this is how we talk. Also there is a condition we have called Tall Poppy Syndrome… Also, as an autistic person, this is my backup defence mechanism of coming off prickly to people to cope with stress and when performing.

I’ve known very talented people. Talent is not enough. The music industry is a rough business. The judges have experience of watching so many crash and burn and even die. There are plenty of musicians who were very talented who became members of the 27 club. It does take more than talent.
@jessielawson28203 күн бұрын
Yeah he deserves to be a star because he is a star he has talent he was only joking with every one he was nervous no doubt he threw up defense when he felt the judges anger towards him and for the judges to take it as attitude then they are no judges in my opinion cause they couldn't judge him at all so keep your head up owen and keep being you and push through all of the bad things and be a star

21:08 He didn't audition for his attitude or cockiness he auditioned because he can sing so get out of your feelings and judge him singing.... I didn't think he was cocky I just thought he was talking as he would to anybody else.... and I don't think he was actually calling him balls as in like he's the boss Asian boss like other people do when they talk to somebody but I think that judges was just butthurt

YES!! They were all caught up in their girlie emotions. There are many young homeless people. I live in California and the expenses here are outrages... the cost of living causes depression and feelings of no self worth. Often our youth self medicate with alcohol. Parents can't always help because they are struggling too. Hopefully this election will bring some relief to the cost of living and there will be more jobs out there. Part time for 20 a hour doesn't pay the rent.

I remember the show Robbie was put in with a band. He wasn’t consistent he never showed up, and I think he went back to the streets.. I think he had some kind of a mental illness. just like that homeless man that had this golden voice as an announcer, he made some money, but then he went back to the streets. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. That is the meaning of that they’re not a custom to. Succeeding in life and working consistently Towards goals. I always see these people on KZbin because they have a business in Landscaping or some hard labor, and they go and offer jobs to homeless people, but those homeless people are not gonna change their ways in an instant for them and they’re not reliable.

So its ok when talent judges laugh and criticize contestants for their talent but when one person triggers their feelings they get easily offended. They should have put through Owen based on his talent, much more talented then the 3 of them combined. Personality can be improved, talent is in the blood
@lottasunshine132512 күн бұрын
I disagree with some of the comments regarding Owen. I think the judges made the right call. There are millions of very talented people who don't get a break, and he should have made the best of this opportunity. Anyway, they put him through when he returned the next week. Sometimes I wonder if these shows are staged.
