I saw a homeless man playing the guitar in town. I bought him food, I went to him with food every time I went to town for Christmas at my school we bought him a tent and a sleeping bag, and the next Christmas he asked me if I played the guitar I just said I play a bit and to repay all we did for him he gave us guitar lessons.

Very beautiful message, but I must quickly draw your attention to the aspect that you said nobody is telling us that we need to love, show compassion, mercy... I want you to know that these are been taught in churches and in other Christian gatherings. I have witnessed many of such myself so I'm talking from experience. Could you explain this? For sure every religion can teach good things, and so also the Islam. And for sure it teaches you not to prejudge people. But does it really teach you "to be a thinker"? Because this means the religion teaches you also to scrutinize the religion itself. I am not sure whether this is really true. But my knowledge of religion is maybe too limited.
