I always save my scraps to use later. They become like found treasures. So wonderful to build up the ephemera anf feel satisfied that you created something that you like. Hello Chantal… It’s always so nice to hear your cheerful voice and watch you being creative. Those scrap papers are beautiful… I love all the vintage, soft, muted colors that play so nicely together. I haven’t wandered through my paper stash is quite a long time and I think I would see it with fresh eyes now after watching your videos. I’ve never purchased digital papers but it’s something I’m curious about after seeing some of yours that you use. And… I’m a sucker for embossed paper and thus embossing folders. My favorite greeting cards are when I’ve used an embossing folder. I have a ton of them… well… maybe not a ‘ton’ but quite a few of various sizes and styles. I love your journal elements / components you created today and I can most certainly see them used together. When you ask what we think while you’re checking something out, I usually answer out loud even though you can’t hear me. LOL When you first put that flower appliqué on the folder/pocket, I said, “YES” but after you went here and there and around, I also loved the results with the embossed paper and sheer ribbon. As far as 10K plans… I think a give away is a lovely idea and I also like the idea of going LIVE… I can see how having a timeframe would be quite difficult to find what fits the most people. I’ll turn on the notifications so I’ll know when you go LIVE on my cell phone (I usually watch your videos on my iPad). It would be lovely to ‘chat’ and create together… I’m continuing to be creative daily… catching up on my Marta collage pages in my 5.5x8 Visual Journal. Only 7 more pages to go (Christmas & Winter books). I’m doing whispers between the music notes now… I’m doing a little of this and a little of that… following your lead on creating my own junk journal is on my 2025 list to do. I think in the future, I might have to call you name out and ask you in one of my videos, lol. I love Marta's book, but I don't have much time to use them lately. I will come back to them when I can. I'm glad to know you plan on making a junk journal. I'm sure you'll be happy with the result. I've actually started to write in a planner I purchased so I can keep track of my mood, eating habits, video planning, exercise, etc... it's helping me stay focused. @ThePurringCatStudio oh, boy... don't get me started on planners! LOL I've had a mostly love /frustrated relationship with them since the early 80's... I definitely do better WITH a planner, but my left brain wants perfectionism, so I struggle getting things actually in my planner. So funny... you've inspired my creativity and now you're inspiring my planning organization! Ya gotta love it! ❤️

I make decorations for journals all the time and build up my stash. I love doing this. I keep them more neutral so I can add color to fit a specific journal when I actually use it.

Hello Julie, that's a brilliant idea to make them neutral because, yes, you can always add a touch of color to fit the journal later. I love making pieces in advance because, for me, it just really takes the pressure off. Then all I do is build the journal, then look at my stash and see what I can use. Lovely ! I did LOADS, 6 crates full of various ephemera, yes great time saver, for various styles of journals , BUT in my hast I didn't keep them sorted in the specific styles, soooo now , I still have to take time looking through ALL the bags in the crates, !! So hope this will be helpful 😅❤😊
