If you do snowboarding/ski sports, you may find the 85cm useful. 85cm is long enough for self recording on snow in most cases. However when folded, the 85cm fits in my snow pants pockets much better than the 114cm which cannot be placed horizonally, 85cm stick is easier to put away and safer for the snowboarders/skiers in case they fall.

I think, the 83cm small stick is more designed for vloggers who may carry the stick in their pocket and use "me mode" to record themselves. I am pretty sure it's designed to replace the original 70cm stick. It improves on including yourself entirely in "me mode". Many people I have heard complained that in me mode their head gets cut off or sits close to the top of the edge of the frame. Being 13cm taller is enough to give you more headroom when using "me mode". The 114cm is your standard stick but many suggest it's not very pocketable for casual shooters. So, they prefer the smaller 83cm one. That's me conclusion on it so far.

That actually makes since. I had the pocketable experience recently. Made me think a little different about it. I don’t use memode though.

I think the 85cm is perfect for attaching it to my bike handlebar 114cm kind of bend at the end. hopefully this solved my issue. I ordered the 85cm. Thanks for this video

If I have the DJI stick that came in the OA4 combo instead the Insta360 stick when recording with the X4 It will be invisible too?

Just checked and it’s not. You end up with a crescent moon shape on one side because of the size of the pole and how the mount sits on it.

i was planning to get this one for my motorcycle since it's shorter and maybe less bendy and more resistant? idk i'm puzzled ... DO you have any suggestions aside from the best360 cuz it's not aveilable anywhere

Do not get the 85cm for the motorcycle. You need to get the action version. It has reinforced 1/4 inch mounting points. The other selfie sticks will snap and break on a motorcycle. People have reported this.

Do you plan to make a review between the Insta360 3M stick vs Telesin G3 3M stick? I am kinda lean towards the Telesin as it’s $25 cheaper.

Honestly the fact that they have a built in go pro mounting system is a deal breaker for me. I want a quarter inch and then I add my own mounts. The twist lock feature is a double edged sword. I like being able to quickly collapse and would get tired of constantly unlocking all the segments.

I’m now looking into 3M stick to get those fake drone shots with my Osmo Pocket 3. Your channel is awesome. Very real usages with pro and con and no sponsored lies. 👍

Thanks for the support. Honestly this is one of those situations where I’d pay for the Brand confidence. I tried to save $20 and it almost cost me $400. I’m not an insta360 shill :), but in this case I’d go with theirs.
