Had to do this the other week for my friend, it was a bit tricky board starting with only one hand whilst the other was holding the board. Nice to figure it out though.

One of the first skills to teach a student is the “Superman”. Unfortunately, way too many instructors don’t do it properly, so hundreds of kiteboards are “lost” in the seas every year because students are incapable of going back to their boards

Seems that wind is quite strong so no need to move kite very deep for an easy waterstart! I tried it with quite low wind , just at the limit for my kite and my weight so I had to struggle to make my own waterstart with the board on my knees, and I needed to make strong pull on the bar, fast kite move deep in the window, and strong second move to waterstart. During these moves it was very difficult to well manage the big board of the beginner, with too small straps to use it myself… I didn’t succeed properly!😳

I thon lin light Wind if on l’y with one hand il go for a down loop waterstart, since you will need to hold only one side

Which insta360 are you using and are you using a waterproof case?

Hi, I'm using an X3 without the dive case. It's already waterproof to about 10m depth without an additional case.
