Excellent thank you! wish that Insta360 would add all of the shotlab app features also to the studio version. Now a lot of the camera functions and options can't be used since the smartphone is not so easy for many people. So with a better studio software, we could all benefit from the great camera's as well

Is there a way to define whether, between 2 keyframes, the rotation should take place clockwise or counterclockwise? Sometimes the automatically selected rotation is wrong.

All my videos in Studio open in my Mac in portrait view only! Even if I specify a 16:9 aspect, it only shows the video in portrait view with black spaces on each side. I can't get it to appear in landscape as you're showing in this video. Help! 😢

Question. Do you save all your raw unedited files to your computer and just pull from your hard drive when you need them? This has been my biggest hurdle using the camera. Just managing all the footage. I tried saving everything from my SIM card to a Dropbox account, but the files don’t work after being saved in the cloud, so I’m unable to come back and edit them later. It seems I have to keep everything on the SIM card until I’m ready to edit. The problem with that is once the sim is full, I have to delete everything to get new footage

How do I sort my files in the project media tab once it's been imported? It appears randomly. And there is no option to sort by date or name or any other way. I have 116 files. I cannot even begin to edit my footage chronologically cos I'm trying to make a video about a trip to vietnam.

desktop app for windows is so far away from anything good. not sure if Ipad gonna help, but ordered ipad to see if I still can use AI options in there and export as close as possible to 4k. on windows desktop only prores export working for me which is weird.

Windows Studio is SOOOOO non-intuitive. I've tried importing/exporting ? like 5 times and still cant get the vids that can edit, just appears as reg videaos. And importing or exporting ? Im not sure which is required because doesing say if importing FROM camera or exporting TO computer. And thats just the start .... HORRID software.

@@CruiserTherapy btw, I cannot even export simple videos. they are failing time to time. Not sure though why. Switched to "cpu" only and doing "prores", - but they are still failing. I am really hope that IPAD will do basic AI/Export job for me so I can continue edits in DaVinci. But overall, Cruiser, honestly, - insta360 did something what nobody else was able to do. The quality of everything not the best one. ... But. Not related to topic, - but I found out that my dji mavic 3 drone has camera beyond anything else I ever saw. Picture quality is so good that I might want to film it on drone instead of camera :). Not a single other camera doing what drone does. Maybe there are some (ace pro not bad, I have it too). Bit mavic's camera is just another leve.

I have the studio app on a windows pc and mine looks different than yours. At the top of the app above where you choose reframing or 360 view, I have 2 options - Media & Project. Your screen doesn't show that. And after di do my edits, when I export it doesn't export. I am getting an error code 1024. What is that? Another time it says that the export failed due to a rejected request.

Motion ND problem! When I apply the "Motion ND" it seems to be on during playback. On the exported videos though, the "Motion ND" DOES NOT TAKE EFFECT. Exporting correctly, intensity and all that jazz is on 100% and still the video is so dull and craggy 😂 The effect isn't taking place after export... Anyone else? Edit: It actually works very well WITHOUT the "Timeshift" speed/hyperlapses. Pretty sad because it did look very cool a while ago when the hyperlapse and motion blur kind of worked in sync. Now it's just meh with the plain timeshift setting...

It still bugs me that you can't key frame in 360 degree exports. I know that you don't want to go crazy with it, but a little gentle visual guiding can be helpful in some videos, and I just want control of what my video is doing.

@@RealGaryGibson I can do it in Premiere, also, but its kind of iffy sometimes. One time it will work perfectly, the next the stitchline is way off. At first I thought it was cause I was zooming in in some shots..but I stopped doing that, and it still happens.

@@brianegendorf2023 I import 360 format (Not reframed) ProRes video into DaVinci Resolve. Then I use the Panomap node with keyframes in Fusion to pan however I want. It works 100% of the time. No zooming in on 360 format, only panning. If you're zooming in, then you're reframing and that's a whole different discussion.

Wow. Beginner here. That was not helpful at all. You mentioned troubleshooting and then skipped it all together. I cannot get insta360 studio to even work on my laptop. It just freezes up and won't play any videos. To be honest, this all looked much more user friendly before I purchased one. The ads imply that it's easy to use and make videos, but that's pretty misleading so far.

Those cameras are so complicated and messed up i wouldn't recommend to anyone. All my videos are played in fastfoward and they don't even have representatives to guide me how ot fix that issue.
