That’s terrible, Alan! I’m sorry to hear it. The only thing that comes to mind straightaway is that your selfie stick only screws onto your mount about three turns. That seems insufficient should the slightest vibration begin the process of de-threading it. Were it me, I’d use a dab of LocTite Blue (not Red) to keep that from happening again. If they don’t sell Loctite over there, let me know, and I will send you some. As it’s the dead of winter here, I’ve forgotten most of my bike info. You mentioned 90kph. What rpm is that at that speed? I’m just wondering if the beginning of the vibration band on our bikes possibly played a factor. I’m sorry for your disaster, my friend!

Hey mate. Thanks for the suggestions. I got hold of Insta360, and they showed me on their website that they have limitations for the camera. I will post an update soon. What does upset me is that these recommendations were not included in the box that my motorcycle mount came in. I'd be interested to know if those reccomendatipn are included in the box now for more recent purchases.

@@ADV-Rider-Dude Hmmm. Since I’m considering an Insta, I’ll go read those limitations. They might limit themselves right out of contention. Did they offer you anything? A refurbished unit as replacement, at least? 🙄
