Instacart: How to Shop for Produce - Store Check-in, Select, Scan, Weight Items

Instacart Tutorial from Checking in to a store to shopping for produce. Some tricks and tips include:
1) Starting or ending your batch in produce
2) If Items don't scan take a picture instead
3) Don't be too particular about the weight of an items. Sometimes the weight of produce vary from season to season
4) Don't be afriad to ask Produce manager questions

Thanks for the video. Im new and produce has been new to me with the weighting part exspeaily. If it say as your example helped me out to thx 2 beef tomatoes 0.8 lbs & you got 2 tomatoes that weighted 1 lb not 0.8lbs as in instacart. Whats the point of instacart making us weight it when the weight as for me never matched the weight example 0.8lbs its supposed to be. If its 2 bananas you get to bananas the weight we input dosen't matter in sense correct idn ?

I liked your Instacart vlog. You should make more. I'm a new shopper and am looking for help through KZbin since Instacart has no formal training. I'm sitting in a so called hot spot now at Aldi. Been here with the Ap on for almost 4 hrs now, with not one batch received. What am I doing wrong. The ap says looking for orders but, I have received none. Any hints for me?

Chrystal Lee I know the feeling. Here's what you do. Call Instacart and ask them when your next batch is going to be. They will tell you how many batches you'll get and what time they will be coming it. The only thing they can't tell you is the store or location.

Chrystal Lee look at your heat map on the app and it will navigate you to the areas that have the most orders coming in.

When I go grocery shopping for my house, I always look for the expiration date on each item. I also get items way in the back of the shelf. I do this for all items that are cold and hot. Meanwhile, you should do the same thing for your customers looking for expiration dates on each item and getting the items in the back of the shelf, instead of the front. If you were able to afford a service like this you would expect the same thing for an employee to do the same. I do appreciate the video that you teach I have a process takes place with instacart when you. Other than that, please take the word of advice that I just said above. Take care.

Coin Drive- did you have to purchase insulated bags before you started? I ended up investing in some because thought needed them before I could start. Also, what's your suggestion on shoes? Monique Pantoja yes you need insulated bags before you start you need to take pictures and send them in it should say on your app what to verify before they start giving you the option do your hours
