I think in the UK that the folks who do this work are store employees. Shame as I feel I could do this. Thank you for your transparency in showing us exactly how things are .

Thank you for the video, alot of people on KZbin don't really show a lot with the app I just started and I only done 2 batches. They 😂are hard to come by where I'm at. Like 20 dollars or less is all I had seen. Not so great in my area. I cancelled one so far. Accepted it by mistake

Great video. Yours was the first one I watched on doing Instacart and I was pleasantly surprised to see your location being in Daytona Beach. I have friends in Holly Hill and I'm planning to move to Port Orange this fall. I am currently on the waiting list up north to do Instacart and it just seems so complicated. I'm sure I'm just nervous, but your video helped.

You will love it down here! The beach is a little sad since the hurricanes this past summer, but it is still beautiful. Port Orange is a great area. I definitely understand it is nerve-racking to start shopping with Instacart, but once you get the hang of it it's easy and pretty fun! Start with small orders and work your way up to the bigger ones. Good luck!!!

Wow, I had no idea! So for the second order, she comes to the store to pick up up the bags? Do they ever get stolen? I want to lol.
@raisingwildflowers2 жыл бұрын
The store has a special area to put the groceries - only IC shoppers and employees are suppose to handle to groceries. When the customer arrives, a grocery story employee will bring them out to their car for them. I have not heard of any of the groceries being stolen - but you do have to depend on the store employees to make sure all the bags make it to the car. Luckily, I have not had any bad experiences with shop-only orders ... yet lol.

Is this a 1099 gig? My friend and I are thinking of forming an LLC and treating this as a business on the side so we can take tax deductions and purchase a vehicle under the LLC. Establish some business credit then eventually get into real estate.

What if the store charges for bags? How does that work with the order? - Who pays for it and how?

I only want to shop. Is the pay good for shoppers only? Do shoppers get tips? Can shoppers set their own hours?
@janicesturgeon46102 жыл бұрын
The Shop Only orders get no tips. Customers can be brutal with reviews for no reason and often say items are missing. Sucks

Is there any trouble you could get into if you take longer than the goal time? What would you say is more worth it, Instacart or Doordash? Thanks so much for your in depth explanation of this. I want to start a side hustle but am not sure if I want to do Instacart or Doordash. I've done food delivery before so I might pick Doordash.

There are honestly pros and cons to each DD and IC. I prefer IC because you can make more money more quickly, but it is more work and communication with customers. My husband prefers DD because it is super easy - just pick up and drop off with very little interaction. The MOST money can be made by multi-apping - doing both DD and IC at the same time. My husband does this a lot and we are thinking of doing a video on how in the future 😊 So maybe start with DD if you are feeling more confident with it, then slowing add in some IC. And you will not get into any trouble for going over the IC timer when shopping.

Do you recommend shopping for the items then scan or scan as you go?
@raisingwildflowers2 жыл бұрын
I would scan as you go. It could get pretty confusing if you need to communicate with the customer about making replacements if you try to gather everything first.
