Well done breaking everything down, showing the visual while you talk. I watched several other channels 'how to use insta for beginners...' ..they went over mostly the why you want to use Instagram, how it can help businesses, etc.. like they didn't even know how to do what was in their video subject line lol ( how to use Instagram ) Most of them also had no visuals. Their videos were of them sitting there talking :/ If there is a part 2, I will watch it. I knew all of this. But, well done.

Have definitely seen the amount of businesses wanting to leverage Instagram and social increase over the last 6 months. However, since it has become more saturated, it is no longer a first mover advantage, and the best are now winning. No longer the first ones.

I appreciate that our host considered that some businesses are not as "visual," but while the example of plumbing shows creativity and is enlightening, there are many businesses that have even less to show. For example, if I want to start a business around my writing lyrics, I can post only so many snapshots of me playing. Songs are audio files; lyrics are text files. I do not have many videos. How is Instagram going to help me? Even more so are businesses that cannot be visualized at all, like someone that does taxes for expats, for example. Nothing in this person's career, let along skillset, has anything to do with posting high-quality images. I would be curious how people would handle these sorts of challenges.

Consider using videos instead, which are much more engaging. You'll be able to show your process, the tools you use, behind the scenes...

Excellent overview for beginners, and great tips! I like your explanation style. Thanks! However, I found that one very crucial part was missing. You show us how to create an IG business page, and you show us which hashtag range to target depending on the number of followers to have, but there's no information on what to do right after you've created your page. By that I mean, how you would get to your first 100 followers, for example, or how to prepare your IG account before you start contacting influencers for marketing purposes when you're starting your business from scratch. I searched through your other videos but couldn't immediately find a video on this topic.

Should we make Instagram accounts for each showroom, or use one parent account? Which method is more effective for building company brand as well as individual showroom brand awareness? Thank you!

If your business operates in different parts of the world/geographical locations you may want to consider multiple Instagram accounts so you can manage your digital presence according to the audience such as running different campaigns depending on locations.
