Are you sure you want to focus on Twitter? From what I hear the 'quality' of the audience on Twitter is lower than on Instagram. I'm not sure about this, but perhaps research this. Good luck bro!

Hello. I checked out all three of the links in the video. Seems the first one only works if you have an IG payment method. The second and third were a subscription based offering (not free). I’m about to start a Shopify store and have started Instagram and started to follow a bunch of people related to my niche. Started to post about my products. Nobody is seeing it. How can I have people see my posts? Hashtags? And for some reason, I’ve tried 3 times to start a Facebook account but each time, it keeps shutting down my account for “suspicious activity!” And I haven’t even started to do anything... What the hell is going on??? So now I can’t connect Facebook and insta together because of this problem... any suggestions?

Hey John! You can put hashtags on old posts, and that will make those posts visible to anyone searching for or following a particular hashtag. However, your post will appear in chronological order along with the other hashtagged posts--so it may not boost visibility that much. As an example, if I go back to a photo I posted in July 2017 and add #summer to the comments, that photo will now appear to anyone following the #summer hashtag...if they scroll all the way down to posts from last July. If you're using hashtags for a small niche that doesn't have much competition, this may be worthwhile. If not, just stick to hashtagging new posts. - Jessica

Hey Zachia! You can start with one or multiple social accounts. If you start with one account, you can focus more of your energy and ad dollars on improving it. If you start with multiple accounts, you can test which one works best. It's really up to you. Facebook is a great platform to start with. Jessica asked us to share our opinion on Instagram for marketing and growing our businesses; for now, in this decade, it’s working for some. However, it and its social media siblings will slow over time soon. Measurable and precise direct-response marketing sadly is not 100% available online/via social media. Let’s see if the ‘giants’ can improve their tools to counter this. Will be interesting, for sure.

I had heard that instagram no longer considers the 30 #. If you put 30 they consider you as spaam and instagram do not recognize them, is this true?

it’s a much better strategy to use a few relevant hashtags that improve the SEO of your posts than to use 20-30 popular hashtags that get you a few more likes! Using too many hashtags in your caption can also look spammy, so it’s is best to use between 3-4 in your initial post description, and then up to 15 highly relevant hashtags in the first comment.

Thats true if you keep it under 10 hashtags you'll be alright but don't put more in you first comment as this will result in getting a ghost ban, how do I know well I've been there and tried it all to see what works... Try not to use the hashtags in the same order each time as well.

Hi Nico. This rumour doesn't make sense which is why I created a video about it myself. If IG allows for 30 hashtags... why would it then think you're spam. IG doesn't say anywhere how many hashtags you should use but I definitely agree with Melissa, using relevant hashtags is important. Don't choose hashtags with millions of posts or that are completely irrelevant to your niche. Also, make sure you mix up your hashtags sets!!

Hey there! If your account is set to private and you add a hashtag to your post, the post won't appear publicly on the corresponding hashtag page. Only your approved followers will be able to see your posts on hashtag pages or in Instagram Direct messages. - Jessica

I heard in another guide that the more hashtags you put it takes away from the strength of your most relevant/strongest hashtags so the guide recommended that we use 5-6 most relevant and strongest hashtags instead of all 30. Is this true? can this be checked somehow? @oberlo

Hey there, great question! The Instagram algorithm is changing all the time. There's no way to check this information except to test it! Run posts with 30 hashtags and run posts with 5-6 to see which one works better. -Jessica
