Great video! So simple yet so so important and often overlooked! In app browsers are awful in my opinion and you lose potential comments, subscribers, and likes that way. I really don't see any upside in using a non-deep link. It's amazing how lazy we humans can be lol! Human psychology is so crucial in social media. I'm loving these videos on social media optimization! Keep them coming!

I think it's something often overlooked, but as a user I also hate in-app browser especially for KZbin I always take the extra step to open it in the app. There will be lots more videos like this coming for sure!

That was really helpful. Ultimately I wish there was a way for me (as the user) to choose each time. Sometimes I want the app and sometimes I don’t. But in promoting my own stuff this is a really great idea. For those of us who aren’t afraid of APIs and such, are there any good resources to generate these on our own? Also, your call to action to subscribe was very natural, not awkward or abrupt like so many.

Yeah that would be ideal, I think on some devices you can choose but on Instagram I think it's ALWAYS in-app browser unless someone shares with this deep link. Can I ask - as a user, what makes you want to use the app or not? For me, when viewing KZbin videos I always prefer to watch in the actual app because it just feels better and I can use all the features. Just wondering what would make you prefer the in-app browser? I've got no idea about coding and API - my skillset goes as far as custom HTML MySpace pages and tiny bit of CSS haha. There is another website you can use that seems to be free for unlimited clicks, but only for KZbin deep links as far as I can tell: foxly.in I haven't tried it personally, but it came up in my research. Thanks for noticing the smooth transition to my subscribe plea 😂

@@RoxyReel Sometimes I just want to see something anonymously or not logged in, so while a lesser experience I prefer the embedded browser. But, it's even more frustrating to get a video to the app, which I usually prefer.

Ozzy Exactly. But not just KZbin. Other sites as well. I could be wrong, but since you’re not logged into anything in the app browser, I believe it would function like Incognito mode. Among other things, it can help keep ads from following you around the internet just because you looked at one product.
