Disclaimer-I’m a black woman After watching videos of him interviewing and having conversations with women, I’ve changed my overall opinion on him and what he’s about. I’ve realized women have an unrealistic perception of themselves and relationships in general. Women can’t take accountability or just be honest in general. Women we gotta do better and stop getting defensive and look at things from a objective perspective.

Kevin's three basic tenets for women (as I've come to understand): 1- Don't have kids before you get married, 2- Don't look down on (or pass) average, blue collar men, 3- If you have issues, seek professional therapy. And I'll add a couple of my own: 4- Be aware (and realistic) that you have competition out there. 5- It's okay to be wrong sometimes...it really, really is.

Literally every woman starts her sentence with, “I feel like……”, and it tells you instantly that she’s going to, “tell you some bullshit”, that has no grounding in reality. Damn.

I love it but only because it's such a predictable defense strategy xD I'm like "yeah you *FEEL*, thats where you went wrong and thats why you didn't know how to do the right thing the first time, n now you *FEEL* like you should still be able to reap the benefits as if you hadn't wasted all of your youth on screwing around."
@krystenburkhardt-hansyn
@krystenburkhardt-hansyn Жыл бұрын
My husband says some thing similar to me, because I always begin my sentences with “I feel” as well and he’ll say to me that my feelings aren’t a reality they’re just my feelings. Well then I’m not sure how us I should communicate what it is I have to say and how I feel about it. I wish Kevin was still alive. I have so many questions.
@GBlues1
@GBlues1 Жыл бұрын
@@krystenburkhardt-hansyn it’s because feelings are just that, feelings. They are intangibles. It’s why women use it so much, because nobody can explain away your “feeling”, but you can justify it simply by saying, “well that’s how I feel.” Doesn’t matter that your man isn’t cheating on you, (as an example), as long as you “feel” like he is, then he is, and no amount of evidence otherwise will convince you that your “feeling” isn’t true. Which basically as I’ve said previously boils down to, “I feel like…..”, is a litany of bullshit that has no factual basis on truth, evidence, or reality in general. It’s simply some made up bullshit to cause unnecessary drama and problems. You can’t find any other way to describe how you “feel”, because how you “feel”, has no factual foundation in reality. 🤷‍♂️

Main issues with the callers: 1. Inability to articulate their thoughts effectively. 2. Cannot stay on point and directly respond. 3. Won't accept they are wrong or adjust perspective for better learning. Even willing to bend/deny facts , chanfe lanes so they can stay correct. Its a conversation not competition 🙄 4. Each sentence starts with " I feel..." 5 . Lot of misdirected anger and resentment. Most of them not aware of it. I hope each one understands when they see themselves.

I'm a Hispanic dude and I love nice-figured black women with their natural hair, I've even dated a few. However, I would never approach a black woman with a weave or fake hair...it's just a big-ass turn-off for me, but that is just me. I actually find black women who have natural tone in their bodies to be more athletic and firmer than their Latino/Asian/Caucasian counterparts. Even if a Latina hits the gym (and unless she is hardcore), on average, she will never be as firm as most toned black chics. It is true, moreover, that black women could be a little bit less aggressive and more feminine.

Kevin was like a shooting star with a message for the black community. Folks can honor his memory by rebuilding our black communities and putting away the foolishness. I'm of the belief that his type of platform may have played a part in his passing. Most guys get stressed dealing with one black woman. Kevin was engaging a lot of misguided black women on a daily basis and I'm sure that it was very stressful. I applaud his efforts because there is no way that I could deal with the nonsense that he addressed regularly. Salute to the Godfather. RIP.

Even reactions from strangers were different when i walked out with my afro, white people were fascinated, black men would stare and black women would ask for hair tips and give compliments. The only issue is you have to be content on the caliber of man that are attracted to a 40+ year old women. Im not gonna lie, he wont be the ideal dream man. Most likely he will be average or below average in all metrics, from money to looks. But If you have no kids at that age it just means that your standards were to high for majority of your life, because i do not believe that there have been NO men that tried to court. You can find happiness at any level, just lower your standards. Since the beginning of time, 99% of women have had kids. Listening to these women shows me with pristine clarity why I’m still single as a Black man!! I exclusively want to date and marry my own kind but unfortunately these types of Black women I see on his platform are what I encounter everyday! As a successful man with values if this is the pool I have to choose from I’m going to be single forever it seems. It’s discouraging but I’m still hopeful. But damn this is sad. Just trying to reason intelligently with the average modern Black woman today to set aside their own feelings to sympathize with ours is like a battle. Black women seem to only care about themselves and it’s really frustrating. And I’m speaking from personal experience. Keep doing what you’re doing KS and to the woman who are actually listening he’s saying what we’ve been griping about for years in our circles and in our barbershops for year but never was given a public platform to express it to the masses. Lesson #1 young fellas here is knowledge from decades of living, NEVER GET A GIRL PREGNANT. If a woman wants a relationship then immediately force her to get her tubes tied and take her to get the operation. Also make sure she takes daily birth control pills and once/twice a week give her the 'Morning After' pill and tell her to take it in front of you when YOU give her the pill which you buy from the pharmacist. If she doesnt want it, kick her out and block her number. Do not get her pregnant ever. If she still wants to stay in a relationship then fine.

I miss Kevin! RIP Kevin. I am a married black woman and I understand how crucial Kevin’s point is for our community to come together. I have an impressionable teenage daughter. We have NEVER allowed her to wear fake hair. She is being raised to be a proper feminine young lady. I feel sorry for young girls who don’t have proper guidance. As an older woman I think we need to set an example for the younger generation. That is my contribution to the young girls I can’t get to directly.

Even when you drop some off for people being nervous and publicly speaking it makes no sense. These women have never had their notions challenged and you can tell because they present their points in an unordered fashion. I specifically feel grieved that reading books has fallen off. Its a great passive way to over time order your thoughts and expand modes of communication and vocabulary. The problem with traditional education is that women seem to be easily influenced. Instead of individual inquiry and thirst for knowledge they come out as if its the same answer factory with no deviation in thought or response. You can literally plug in the next women who will say the same thing.

KS has taught me so much. I’ve been married a long time. The one thing that has affected me the most is understanding that my husband and MEN have real feelings and they do get HURT by us. It wasn’t something I purposely did it’s just that women are so in tuned emotionally with their children, family and friends. We are so busy with that we tend to put what our man might be going through on the back burner. When I realized this I cried for HIM. Now, I’m so different and more attentive to him and connect to him on a more soul level. He does experience pain he just doesn’t show it to us or even express it. But, understanding that my husband is a HUMAN BEING I now fully understand he feels pain just like me.
