This stand was ordered two days ago. There are not many Liberty 150 accessory and maintenance videos on You Tube yet. Keep them coming Robot .All my parts for my 2014 FLY 150 and now my recently purchased Liberty S 150 come from you guys, just because of the videos, including the ride-to destination ones. Many thanks !

Cheers from Greece! Thanks to your instructional video, i was able to mount the side stand myself! (Had to "invent" a sprig tool).

A few months ago I used two fat zip ties as a workaround to open the rubber gasket spring of my front-loading washing machine. My son pulled one end and I pulled the opposing side, worked pretty well. The special spring tool is $60 USD otherwise.

Thanks for the great video and for shipping the kit to Canada so quickly! You make it look so easy Robot, it took me 4 or 5 hours (but I have Parkinson's). One thing I did differently because I don't have a spring tool was the washer trick and it worked really well! I clamped the short end of the spring in a vise and bent it over using the long end for leverage and forced washers into the spaces between the coils.(You can use pennies or nickels too.) I think it took ten washers then I hooked the long end on the pivot and straightened the spring out and slipped the short end onto the hook on the side stand (side stand down was shortest). 'Then I pulled the washers out one at a time with my needle nose pliers. Easy peasy and very safe! I love my side stand, I don't know why they don't put them on at the factory...

Thank You Robot !! Went smoothly after watching your video start to finish twice. Ordered the parts from you folks and they came really quickly. I live VERY remotely so being able to do basic maintenance myself is really important. The spring puller was a big help! Keep up your videos ! Thanks !!

Brilliant, awesome video. Took me about 30 minutes rolling around on the floor. Would have taken 3 days without this video. I was able to do the connector from the bottom, not a lot of room, just about get my fingers in with my accomplice holding the torch. Thank you so much.

Thanks Robot and Vespa Motorsport! Video was easy to follow and my Liberty S is now fully side-standed. I don’t have a lift so I just laid my scoot on its side on a blanket and was able to reach everything just fine. Thanks for the instructional video and for offering a great product and fast shipping!

Thanks so much for the side stand install video. Had I tried to do it without watching your video I would have removed way too much bodywork and still not had a clue where the kill switch should plug into. Picture will come once I complete the install on my wife’s Liberty150.

Thanks Robot - worked a treat thanks to your instructions. Getting to the four screws under the trim (to remove the sidestand 'cover') can be accomplished with a standard screwdriver once you take two of the four easier-to-reach screws out, then you can flex the plastics back enough to reach the harder-to-get screws just fine.

Wish I'd had this video in 2017 when I was doing this install!! Piaggio service manual was no help - but you did a great service for the Liberty owners here Robot. Thanks!! How about a valve check video?

Thank you for this video. The installation was quite simple once I laid the scooter down on the side. I accessed the plugged in of the kill swich much easier this way as well.

Really wish these came standard 🙄 I just picked my 2022 up yesterday and I LOVE it, save for not having a size stand. PITA to have to get off, balance the bike and put it up on the center stand every time. For 4k +, the 100 ish dollar side stand should come with it. Regardless, the video is massively helpful as I will be doing this in the next few weeks. Thanks!

I have a Buddy 125 and a Suzuki Van Van. I think a Liberty 150 would b the perfect replacement for both. I love the carrying capacity of the Buddy. But on dirt roads it’s pretty bumpy. The Van Van rides like a Caddy and has fuel injection. The no shifting on the Buddy is cool. I think I’ll keep them both. Does PGO stand for Piaggio?
@VespaMotorsport3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a plan! PGO is the Taiwanese parent company of the Buddy Scooter (goes by different names in other markets) and many other scooters worldwide.

One question with the side stand down, is there any threat of the scooter rolling away? You can not put it in gear like a motorcycle to lock the wheels from turning.
@ryanini9992 жыл бұрын
You can't keep the wheels from turning but you can lock the front wheel when it's turned all the way to the left ...at worst, it will only roll in a circle and maybe fall over but it won't roll away

I just installed this, what a pain in the ass connecting the connector!... Robot made it look easy, it's NOT! if Piaggio would have given just a few more inches of wire, it would have been so much easier. Hint, its easier to connect it on the bottom rather than through the floorboard. the bottom plastics separate apart and gives you more room, especially if you don't have a lift and you're on the ground.
@jamesconner3437 Жыл бұрын
This is the type of follow up comment that we all look for. Will certainly keep your hint in mind ! And Robot's not emphasized buy freat tip was to not install the wores in such a way they get pinched between the frame and floorboard, if you go in from another way.

I also found it much easier to find the connector and connect from underneath. I have a P Liberty.
