now this mod is cool but what would make this even better is if you were to add frosted panels or some type of diffuser sheet and pushed the led strip closer to the inside wall of the panel to brighten up the led effect but with the diffuser it makes it a smoother experience

There's other brands of LED strips that will actually remember the last setting you put on. Also these usually draw half to a 1amp at 5 volts.

It’s a common upgrade for fightsticks. Usually there’s enough power draw from the VCC line off the usb to power most LED setups.

Example: The standard USB type A port can output (5V*500mA)=2.5Watts. The current consumption of UFB & UP5-Kit is around 120mA. When three RGB LEDs turns on, it needs typically 60mA current. Based on this I usually limit my LEDs to 12-16 individual lights in order to make sure there’s enough power. At tournaments where there’s a large power draw due to multiple consoles / monitors hooked up, sticks with LEDs usually are the first to stop working.

isn't this going to add a significant power draw to the stick? PS4s are notorious for dropping out signals when power consumption gets high. you plug a stick into the console and the hdmi signal cuts out for a second, for example. i always recommend our tournament player sync their pads, then unplug them to minimize that power draw. does the monster kit have specs for current and power?
@jonyfraze
@jonyfraze 5 жыл бұрын
It only requires 5V to operate at full brightness (which is extremely low). For instance some of the newer optical joysticks require 5V as well to operate. Also keep in mind you can just turn off the lights for tournament play.

@@jonyfraze keep that remote taped to the bottom :) the whole stick only takes 5V to operate, and i get the feeling lights pull as much current as the whole thing. i might just grab a strand out of the drawer and see how wild it can get. cheers!

I’ve never been more confused AFTER watching tutorials, but watching this and every BNB video, somehow I learned more from just making mistakes. Please make these informative by SHOWING us UPCLOSE, and CUTTING your scenes to show us specific close-ups and detailed examples. So much of this shit requires extremely finicky movements and placements. That has to be taken into account when doing a tutorial video for something that costs $250USD. Also, turn your comments on, on the other tutorials… that makes no sense. Don’t be butt-hurt about comments, people need to read them to learn about the goddamn fight stick. Just so backwards.

Appreciate the feedback. I’ll keep that in mind for future videos. The reason the comments are off on the videos is because support needs to be routed through Focus Attack’s official support team instead of KZbin comments. @@jonyfraze hi, I apologize for being rude. I will write a proper critique with valid feedback so the next ones can be better, I’m glad you replied. I finally got mine working, but truthfully, without electrical knowledge or knowledge of what’s under the hood? It was a task. Now, I’ll come back tmrw with my full response, and I’ll also email it. I am very happy with my working stick, now that I’ve figured it out, it’s beautiful. However, this could bring in many more noobs like me, or hobbyists, if there was a WAY more clear cut depiction of what you’re getting in the packages versus what you ACTUALLY MAY NEED. Not just listing a bunch of random ass parts. Anywho, I’ll do what I can to detail this thoroughly. I need to reiterate that I LOVE the working product, and I’m for SURE buying another mode or TWO. But if I’m like this, how many other customers could you guys have had by now? Just KISS and you’ll make more money, guaranteed.
