Great video on a battery solor motion sensor led light. I recommend advancing the video to about 7:33 this cuts out the unboxing portion that is self-explanatory. Great post and helpful Harbour freight super product

Hi, great video. But I have a question. It only comes on by motion sensor or it can be just on when the sun light down!?

I loop 2 medium size zip tie threw both holes of the light & screwed into the zip tie, that way, if I want to turn it off all I have to do is just flip the light up & cut it off & it will lay back in place...

Greetings, just found this channel while looking for info on the 1000 lumen light. Great video! My question; how are these lights performing a year later? I just installed 3 of them and they really lit up the area beautifully, but I'm wondering if I'll get 5 years out of them. I'd appreciate any reply from anyone who's used these lights. Thanks!

at time mark 12:35 we see the 1000 lumen: The problem you may find is due to the fact that the solar panel is non moveable/adjustable it can easily not get 24 hr sunlight to recharge. It will depend on what direction it will be facing. South of course will be a full day more or less, but any other direction there will be less sun exposure. The limited time may or may not be enough for your needs. If they only come on when activated, they might, but why take the chance guessing. I realize most of the useful light is from about 10 am to 3 or 4pm approx,so its not an exact science here, but it may be something to consider. The porch lights with the 110 or so lumens look good and should be much better than the 110 light. At my garage entrance I wanted a security light on the outside above the door to turn on if and when someone stepped into my drive way. My garage driveway faces east,so Im not going to get much sunlight . To solve that, I bought a light with a 10ft wire going to approx an 8x6 inch solar panel and put that on my roof that faces south and is tilted so as to use the sunlight during winter thru summer. Its still working going on 3 yrs now. That was a walmart one. about $25 or $ 30 as I recall. Best solar light I ever bought. I just bought the 1000 Lumen one you have described and am going to hope it will be good for me,but its built in and the solar panel,as you know, is non adjustable . We will see. If it doesnt Ill go back to what I have for my garage I just explained above. I subscribed (109 on 4.24.24) so Keep us posted how theyre doing like 1x /year and if they die let us know. get spares and keep them in a prepped aluminum trash can in case we get and EMP. its Cheap insurance

I have both of these lights. The less expensive one works fine but the 1000 lumen is unbelievably bright. It’s defiantly the brightest solar light I’ve seen thus far. My only complaint besides the on off switch rear mounted is the instructions doesn’t explain how to use the three position sensitivity setting. Waiting for a Harbor Freight to get back to me with info on how to adjust the settings. Otherwise it’s working great and blinding bright. Don’t look into it directly. Lights up a large area of my yard when taking our dog out. Got mine 20% off with coupon. If these go on sale, I’m thinking I’ll buy another. The smaller one is also a great value on sale for around $10.00.

I agree both lights preform past expectations but I've found the bigger lights battery runs out quickly. I caught the smaller one's on sale and bought them out.

@@AbramHeathFULLYEET I’ll give the big one a test run and report back. It takes three days to fully charge before use.

Just to confirm, I screwed the two 1000 lumen lights to the top of our deck and they light up the whole yard beautiful. Walking our dog at any hour of the night or early morning sets them off and the brightness is outstanding. Never thought solar lights could be so bright. I’m sure the batteries may not provide a very long time of brilliant light but for my occasional needs, they are just perfect. I’ll give them 5 out of 5 stars. Very pleased.
