Thank you for your feedback and question. This one was from Amazon. They have a few when searching for “string trimmer wheels”. The one in this video was Kalaww. You’ll likely want to measure the string trimmer shaft and compare it with the dimensions in the description.

The loose bracket and vacuum cleaner motion are definitely compromises to know about with the product. I use the loose bracket as a way to set and change the angle of the head near a straight edge then move the trimmer along the edge.

I ordered something very similar (longer pole) from Amazon to see if I can use it for heavier attachment tool like bristle brush. I need to secure by adding a shaft. because of the shape of the metal (upside down U shape) and weight to the wheels, I feel like they may sag. These products from Amazon are really badly made lol

I have that thing it's a POS. Won't clamp down on the diameter of the trimmer down shaft, and the wheel support is way too short. The wheels themselves look like something off a Tonka truck and the axles are designed to wear the wheels out. Stay away from it.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve shared some of what you have written. If/when you find some good string trimmer wheels, please share the name and model with us. Ultimately, these in the video are a cheap (get what you pay for) way to help get the weight off your back for small wide areas or very long straight distances. Since the wheels don’t turn these are best for long straight runs like a fence line. As mentioned in the video, they work like a vacuum cleaner instead of a swing. Swinging them normally will just add weight to the end. The wheels are cheap but I haven’t seen any unusual wear. They wont last if you slam the trimmer down on them, but if you just use the wheels to roll, I think the clamp hardware will crack before the wheels do.

@@TryAdaptLearn The wheels don't turn on yours? I've looked extensively and the few that show up haven't impressed me. One of the manufacturer's other sins is that not a single one of the dimensions are given. Without that the customers buy blindly and good luck. I had to add about 10" to the struts so the wheels would be on the ground. I filled the shaft clamp with washers so it would work with my trimmer. It's not a no name mongrel either. It's a widely sold Black & Decker. I'd have been better off making something from scratch for all the hours and effort put into changes. I guess they don't care very much about customer satisfaction from the overall lack of consideration to buyers. "Let's make something that the picture looks like it might work for some people. They'll buy it anyway."
