Love the videos man, always honest and detailed no BS such as "today's sponsor is" or annoyingly gay intros, just keep doing them the way they are please!

Aha I know exactly what you mean man… I’m just filming as I go, some may find the vids useful… some might not. Thanks heaps for the feedback bro, I really appreciate it. Oh, and Happy New Year 🎊

@Jeenzy79 Yes, and you too, legend! I myself have got a bit to do on the BF Ghia, too. Like full respray, refurb all the rims just to mention a few things, but most notably, I would like to get the car lowered a bit. I don't think necessarily coilovers, but enough to make it sit better, especially at the rear as it sits awkwardly high.

Good job Legend. I wouldn’t be selling that Fairmont anytime soon. We appreciate the trouble that you go to video everything mostly with one hand) and explain every detail of the process unlike some famous Aussie KZbinrs who think that all their viewers know what to do and what’s what who skip over many important details of parts of while they’re fitting or working on something. Cheers man 🍺🍺🍺🍺.

Thanks mate 👍🏼 From the first video I did, the whole point of filming was to try and get in as much of the little thing’s that a lot of people usually miss out… Cheers for the feedback mate. 🍻

Looks good mate, if I can ask, how much did they set you back and where did you get them from? I’ve fitted kings ssl snd sl on the car which is bf xr6 turbo with matching lowered Monroe gt shocks, feels planted but still has this bouncy firmness which is given with lowered suspension. Might swap it into my other daily in the new year if I decide to change it again
@Jeenzy7911 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, I know exactly what you’re talking about with the bouncyness of the lowered suspension. I’ve only ever gone that same route in the past and had never been truly happy. I can’t fault the coilovers so far, and the amount of height adjustment and also the dampening makes it so you can truly dial it in to get it exactly how you want it. I’m yet to lift the front of mine just because visually I think it’s too low but I could leave it if I really wanted… it’s driving nice enough as it is. I ordered mine online directly from the BC Racing Australia website. They cost me $1,550 delivered to my door. I was looking at paying about the same price for a set of Bilstein shocks with King springs so they were definitely worth the investment in my opinion.

I swapped pedders for Lovells Springs , and i believe they're much better . None of the spring is trapped or compressed and the ride is much better . Running konis. Just thought I would mention it . Cheers

Did you have to install camber/caster plates?. Looks great bloke.
@Jeenzy7911 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! I haven’t installed any but it has some in it already. It hasn’t been down for an alignment yet.

Hello You mentioned that youd compare them to the stock strut but i never saw it. However i did see as you were installing the new strut, it was noticeably shorter than stock. Do you think theyd be able to adjust it out and reach the complete stock length? Im looking for something to replace my RTV front shocks and theyre about two inches longer than a standard front.

Nice mate, are the Rear’s just as easy and straightforward like the front’s And also what are the torque specs for re fitting Cheers.
@Jeenzy797 ай бұрын
Cheers mate, the rears were actually a fair bit more of a pain… only because the ream arm wouldn’t drop enough for the spring to fall out like it had on every other B-Series I’ve had. Wasn’t too bad tho, pretty straightforward. I just torqued everything to the factory specs, one side at a time while it was under load from the jack.

what coil overs would u recommend for my fg falcon
@Jeenzy7911 ай бұрын
I’ve never used or even been in a car that had coilovers before I bought these ones so I couldn’t really say. I have heard good things about the XYZ tho.
@xParoxysm11 ай бұрын
These or full custom coilovers like Shockworks would make I think are the only ones around
