I have Redmi 9 running LineageOS 20. Can I go straight to LOS recovery and installing the DroidX without having to go through rhe TWRP setup? LOS20 has been giving some challenges especially the in-call volume and Gboard often closing. Your feedback woukd be very helpful. Thanks!

if you have flashed FW miui 12.5.6 before flashing lineageos then yes, and start flashing LOS REcovery

you need to check FW if same FW requires for both roms then it can go, and also recovery
