With almost 18,000 miles on the odometer, it was time to freshen up the drivetrain on my 2015 Suzuki GSX-S750. I have NEVER done this before! This is how it went.

Dude, I watched every minute of the video. Totally like your work style! I can't open anything on my bike and leave a dust particle behind, everything has to be spotless. Keep up the good work!

Awesome man! Thank you so much for your feedback :) Part of the enjoyment of riding is the precision and good looks of the bike! Dirt ruins both of those things. Glad to meet another clean-freak like myself! Ride safe my friend.

Greetings Carlos! Thank you my friend. I followed my dad around when I was growing up. He was always working on the cars, his race car, the house... anything that needed fixing he was on it! I'm thankful for him! And thankful for youtube! What a way to share and learn! :) My best to you!

Next time use dawn dish degreaser. It’s a purple spray. Works wonders and super gentle on all your seals and stuff just don’t use it on your chain. Anywhere metal it’s 1000% safe to use.

I can imagine it’s insane!! I thought about changing the gears but I do very little stop and go riding. I live in rural VT so once I start rolling I’m good to go and I did not want to move my cruising rpm any higher 👍

So what was your total cost on the two sprockets and a chain? They have a kit from Dennis Kirk with steel sprockets for about $180?? Where did you get the chain from?
@sstressfl
@sstressfl 2 жыл бұрын
Hey man! I got all of it from sprocketcenter.com/c-1390500-street-suzuki-gsx-s-750-2015-2016.html They sent the right length chain and made it easy.

Your videos are great! I wish I could double like it or triple suscribe, man. Thank you for sharing. I usually sell my bikes before needing all these maintenance, not intentionally, but it has worked out like that to me as well. I had a GSX-S750 '19 and I'm thinking to get another one for my daily commute, but now I'm realizing motorcycles are high maintenance... Debating myself if I'm up to do all this work (including valve clearance checks), 'cause I don't like taking my bikes to the stelearships. Btw, spare parts for this bike can also get expensive down here in Mexico... Haha maybe I should stick to my Toyota Yaris and live a boring life.

Appreciate the feedback! Thank you! :) Motorcycles are def a lot of work to keep them in top shape. One of the benefits of living in Vermont is I'm forced to park my bike for about 6 months during winter. Gives me lots of time to maintain this thing. If I lived in a warmer environment like Mexico, I'd have to have TWO bikes! lol One to ride while the other is being worked on! It can get expensive though but certainly not as expensive as paying someone else to do the work. If you decide to stick with the Yaris then put a great stereo system in it! Maybe lower it a little and tune it to handle like a go-kart :) No need to mess with the engine. Just make it more fun to drive :) Peace my friend!

Hey Michael! Great video! I have one question, is the pin next to the front sprocket suppose to be loose? Ive just removed the cover, and the pin just popped out with it. Now i am scared that i have broken something. Its the clutch pin or something like that. Need help!
@sstressfl
@sstressfl 3 жыл бұрын
I believe you’re talking about the clutch push rod. Yes! It should just slide in and out. You can clean all the chain gunk off then put a little grease on it and slide it back in. Make sure it’s seated and then re-assemble. 👍
@Brillesverden
@Brillesverden 3 жыл бұрын
Oh good!! Was a little scared there for a moment... have removed all the «gunk» and everything else looks good. But what do you mean when you say make sure its seated? Because when i push it in nothing clicks, can easily turn it both ways. Have never done this before so just wants to be sure that i do thing correctly. Thank you for your reply tho :-)
