Hi. I have a question. It’s not related to the topic of this video, I figured that I”d have a greater chance of getting a response if I asked on your t recent video. My question is : Is it possible to effectively wet form a leather knife sheath that has already been treated/waterproofed with Sno Seal? I’ve been searching for info on this, but can’t seem to find anything. I’m thinking that the waterproofing will prevent the water from soaking into the leather, which to my understanding is necessary for wet forming. Thanks

Hi! Yep your assumption is correct. Wet forming leather requires untreated veg tan. Good luck!
