Its been a long time since you posted it but its now more relevant! I have 4 Wink Relay and finally decided to cancel my wink subscription. I have replaced them with a Lutron Hub and a Smartthings hub. I am however unable to get either a Lutron App or a Smartthings app that will work on the winks. Found versions of assistive touch, a weather app and the Nova Launcher all of which are working fine. Could you let me know what version of Smartthings you are running on your wink assuming you still have them!!\ Thanks

Intercom quality is OK, decent enough to understand speech, but definitely not CD quality

The procedure runs the default desktop, then it stays unless you run again wink app. And by the way, that back-door I left it in is disabled as soon the factory image is updated over the air with current / latest version of wink relay. .

It looks like you're pressing the screen multiple times to make it work. Is that because the Wink is slow, or does it have a poor touch screen?

The home screen button trick did not work for me, is it possible they removed this in a software update since your video was made?

I have a ton of connected devices hooked to wink. I'd like to not factory reset it if possible. I invested a lot of time tweaking it to my liking. WHY WONT THE TWO BUTTON 45 SECOND HOLD WORK!?

You are factory resetting a controller essentially. NOT the Wink. Everything will remain

When you factory reset, everything goes clean slate with factory image stored in a hidden partition, which would overwrite /data /recovery /system

I got it to install, the intro video comes up, but once I log in to ring it just closes... So annoying. Seems like it maybe missing a piece of software it needs...

matt-tube so I got it to install and the sign up/login screen comes up. It's telling me that I need a working version of google play services. I can't find one that works. So annoying

My assistive touch is giving me some problem. When I press to go back home, it takes some time for the wink relay to appear, and after it does it does not function properly, the screen goes blank if I touch it. Have you had that problem? Do you know what might cause it?

other videos have seen said you have to do this before the update. So you will have to factory reset the whole system, install the apps you need (browser, home screen, etc), and then do the setup (like it was new ou-of-box) and then allow the update.
