How to Install Rvinyl Precut Headlight Tint: A Quick Guide
Unpack Carefully: Open the sealed bag by cutting at the top, away from the tint pieces.
Prepare the Surface: Clean the headlight thoroughly. Wipe the front and back of the tint piece to remove dust or dirt.
Dry Install: For larger headlights, install dry to make the process easier. Start by locking in a flat section, leaving the liner on. Gently heat the film, pulling it towards the headlight in small sections (3-4 inches at a time).
Apply Film Around Curves: Heat the film and pull gently around curves. Keep the liner on to maintain tension. Work from top to bottom, focusing on applying the film to the middle first.
Fix Wrinkles: If wrinkles appear, lift the film slightly, apply heat to relax it, and then squeegee it down in a triangle shape.
Finish the Application: Repeat the process for the top section. Use heat to shrink the film into place, smoothing out any tension with a squeegee.
Final Touches: Go over the entire headlight, including edges, with heat to set the tint.
